OHHH NOOOOOO

WEATHER FORECAST SAYS IT'LL RAIN IN THE NEXT 3 DAYS. AND I HAVE FIELD CAMP. GG HAHA

And we'll become silhouettes when our bodies finally go

hoho i'm gonna eat the apple with the heart shape embedded in it later. And today's my book in day :(

And i have field camp tmr. For the benefit of those who don't know what BMT field camp is, basically its this 6 day 5 night stay in a jungle 8km away from my bunk. And no, you don't get to bathe. And no you don't get to bring any wet wipes or any luxury items. Luxury item means any item not provided by the SAF. Not bathing for 6 days =.=" sucks. really.
And please pray that it doesn't rain cause i don't wanna get all muddy and cold. Its ultra cold at night so if it rains.... i really don't know how I'll sleep. Maybe i won't even get the chance to sleep properly given that we're to do guard duty to guard our perimeter from any attackers. Attacks could include sergeants, officers or other recruits from another company or platoon.

2 more hours to book in. I better start spamming chocolate so that I'll have lots of energy tmr to do my 8km march with almost 15kg.

Okay and this picture's really cute.

BOOK IN :(

Okay its time to book in again. Sigh.
I'm generally happy about army apart from the fact that i could be enjoying myself somewhere else rather than army. haha

Anyway here's some pictures i took today and yesterday.

Here's the sky before i'm booking in. Taken at 7.15pm. Pretty nice huh :)
And its x10 nicer at tekong whenever the sun rises or sets. Wish i can bring my camera there.

And a day ago i was shopping for fruits for some detox diet when i came across this apple. haha since it was so cute i bought it. But i haven't had the will to eat it. haha

Okay time to leave. bye :)

My extremely camera-pro friend took this with his iPhone when he was in Bali a few months back. Spectacular.

I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles In our eyes are mirror images and when We kiss they're perfectly aligned

back.

Okay finally back from 17 days of confinement/adjustment week.

I'm not allowed to elaborate much on NS so i'll just keep my NS stuff brief and concise.

NS is currently okay because i can handle the trainings and "physical tortures"; i guess being in a sports CCA really helps. NS is only okay for now and should be still relatively alright in the near future to come. I think BMT for me should be a breeze.

My main concerns before i entered NS was actually about cleaningness and my bunk mates. However these two concerns have been proved satisfying, or QUITE satisfying, because my bunk mates are all really nice people, from almost all walks of lives. And, i get to bathe like twice a day most of the time. However sometimes we don't, thus the sweaty uniform we wear in the morning gets worn till the evening. Nevertheless, being a very optimistic person, i'm happy about how things are now, with the exception of the limit to my freedom.

My sergeants and officers are also nice people. Though sometimes they like to accost us to do things. I mean they can just ask nicely right, there's a chance we'll do it out well. hmmm... my daily routine's something like this. Wake up at 5am. Do some warm up exercises at 5.45am. Then the whole day will be filled with activities whether physical or not till the evening. Usually we sleep at 10.30pm.

Initially i didn't like wearing the uniform and helmet but i've kinda adapted to the added weight and heat from wearing the battle order. The only thing i'm "sian" about would be the heat injuries i've sustained through prolonged wearing of the battle order. My about 75% of my body, mostly upper body, has heat rash now. It doesn't itch, but it makes my skin really dry and red. Annoying, yes. Irritating, yes. Pain, sometimes its a little stinging.
I'm recuperating at home now. I hope 4 days are enough for me to recover and be ready for my next "ordeal". haha

Training is kinda slack for me. Punishments are kinda slack as well, since push ups and running arn't much of a trouble. The only thing that has killed me so far is the ROAD MARCH! Since i've enlisted, i've been on 2 road marches. One 4km and one 6km. With the FBO (full battle order) which is around 15kg, inclusive of my IPV (its like a vest to keep my weapon accessories), field pack and SAR 21), walking is really difficult. My shoulders feel like they're gonna break and after awhile they just go numb. Seriously, road march = no joke.

hm... what else. Oh right, my "wife" is a SAR 21. I don't know why army calls it my wife but I've got this burning urge to name it Robert, but thats not really fitting for a girl's name, right? My "wife" has lots of perks, like a super accurate scope and lazer sight. That day i was playing with the lazer thing, then i just suddenly leaped out of my bunk and did a crouch. Then i started shouting "piu piu" (shooting sound) and there was my sergeant at the corridor looking at me. My lazer dot was pointed at his helmet. hahaha fortunately i only got pumped. Could have got extra confinement. We're not allowed to point the rifle at anyone.

And remember the paragraph when i said my bunk mates were nice people. Yeah the day after we booked out, some of us went to catch Iron Man 2 together. Really nice show. haha

Alright, i guess thats about it. goodnight :)
