Someone wise once said: "Men want to be respected, and women want to be heard."
Mind you, On what planet do women not want to be respected, and men not want to be heard? The majority of humans want both things.

i guess sometimes its all about being understanding and giving in.
i stumbled upon this tip-ful website. "
"How to Deal with things?"
Learnt a lot.

my favourite lyrical band.

Day 'n' Night

TODAY I FEEL LIKE A GOOD SAMARITAN!
My mom fetched me home from church.
At the traffic light before my condo, we say this malay couple sitting on a chair on the pavement.
The lady was bleeding, her left arm had blood. And she was crying.
So we asked the couple if they needed help.
Initially they refused but after asking the second time (maybe i'm really convincing),
they accepted the ride.
We found out that her boyfriend skidded on the motorbike and they were waiting for a friend to pick them up.
We brought them to a clinic (we went to 3 clinics cause the first 2 were closed) and then went off to buy lunch.
I got this really warm feeling after doing that. Like really happy i helped someone cause they were like so grateful and stuff.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Dion! (yesterday)
Its been nice knowing you.
I still remembered during "O" levels you told me that i should really stop playing and do my best cause after studying for 10 years, it would suck to fail.
Thanks.

And today i went out to Novena just to get a drink of caramel frapperchino? lol don't know how to spell. But it was really enjoyable.
Had a relaxing day today.
Before... school tmr.
You know first days... you never know what you're gonna expect.
alright its late. CYAAAAAAAAAAAAA

oh! i watched transfomers 2 on thursday!
quite a good show. SUPER action packed movie.
though the ending kinda suck.

19.5.2009 (5 months)

19.5.2009
happy 5 months.
To celebrate the occasion, we went to this garden? or park near kallang.
We set up a table (not really a table but rather a chair and a box with some really furry bed sheet on top as table cloth), 2 chairs, some candles and some food to eat.
It was really fun cause it out of nowhere and the view was terrific.
The place where we had our candle-light dinner was overlooking kallang river/ reservior to be, the indoor stadium, the city, the bride and everything nice.
Had a really enjoyable time.
oh and chelsea's house was in the background. we borrowed the chairs from her.

On saturday, i went to Malaysia, ate a lot! and shopped till my heels were sore.

Apart from all those events, everything else is kinda normal.
Today's kinda sian.
Oh well
cya.

qwertyuiop[

okay past few days were quite great.
Had NS checkup on wednesday.
Took quite awhile? around 5 hours.
Full body check up - eyes, ears, mouth, body and pretty much everything.
Got into Pes A, which means my body has the capability to survive all their physical activities.
Then did the super duper long IQ/army-interveined IQ test. The test questioned on math, physics, common sense, feelings and the ability crack codes and stuffs.
Quite fun haha but also very long (2hours+)

After NS checkup i rushed down to tuition and had dinner at sam's house at night.

Thursday is today.
Watched "Ghost of Girlfriend's Past" even though we planned to watch "Monsters Vs Aliens".
Was quite a good show. Cliche but not bad. :)

oh and school holidays are gonna end. which is bad cause i haven't enjoyed and studied enough.
oh well.
goodnight :)

to you, the cliche things.

i noticed that people, we and everyone, are really conditional beings.
I'm not saying that its wrong to be conditional all the time (eg when its really rainning heavily, you cancel an appointment) but most of the time we shouldn't be.
When asked whether we want to go out, we often say "see how"
When asked to do something, we usually expect something.
Somehow its kinda irritating. (i'm not saying that i'm not like that, in fact i find myself to be one sometimes)

Apart from that, yesterday was rockmaster 2009. A climbing competition. In fact, the most challenging and dynamic one. Well, it went pretty well. Climbed quite well and had a lot of fun. The routes were dynamic so we had to dyno (jump) now and then.

Today morning i went to the doctor to remove my stitches.
Went to school to study after that.
Met sam at night for dinner at Sakae Sushi. nice food. and paradoxically we didn't eat any sushi at all. We ordered Dons (those rice meals) and fried tofu.

and this guy is super funny.
watch all his vids!

studying at home =x

i'm gonna climb later.

i need to find.

the mental dental

i wrote this from the dental and blogged it with my phone:

I am now writing this from my dental. Mr dentist just injected aneastatic into my top left gums and its feeling really numb now. He went to get something so i'm free to do this now. My wisdom tooth is going to leave my in a few moments from now and my mouth feels swollen and numb. Its gonna be inhumanely unbearable (the pain, not departing from my wisdom tooth)
if i'm not wrong he's gonna drill my tooth into 3 or 4 parts. Afterwhich, he's gonna pull them all out and judging from the number of days the mc cover from the extraction of wisdom tooth' you can roughly guess how pain it is. (5 days of mc) Though this would be my 5th time extracting a tooth, its my first time taking out my wisdom tooth and i'm having mixed feelings; nervous and excited.
Okay to all my friends, its been nice knowing you and if i survive(i most prolly will) you'll see me blogging about it tonight. Okay He's back. gg

Okay i extracted my wisdom tooth on monday.
Stayed at the dental from 11am till 3.30 am cause my gum won't stop bleeding!
SUPER IRRITATING. now i'm like traumatised. AND I HAVE TO PLUCK OUT ANOTHER WISDOM TOOTH SOON. =.="
anyway the dentist wanted to send me to the hospital but i immediately refused and asked him to give me lots of gauze (things to bite to create a blog clot) while i go home and try to stop the bleeding. haha
basket wisdom tooth extraction is super pain! all in all i recieved 7 injections.
2 before i extracted the tooth and 5 to stop the bleeding, which apparently was incompetent cause i still continue to bleed!

Anyway the whole bleeding saga ending at 5am (like finally =.=") thats when i managed to sneak in some sleep before the morning arrives.
And till now (today) my gum there is still swollen and i'm still hesitating from brushing my teeth afraid that it might break the blood clot and cause it to bleed all over again!

i hope i'm not too late.

oh and Happy Birthday. :)

Presenting the 5 poses of Jessica.

.the huh? look .the what did i do look

.the yah i think so look .the distracted look

.the emo look

and tmr i'm going to the dentist to remove my wisdom tooth which have been bugging me for a long long time. Apparently there's a hole in the tooth, not that i don't brush my teeth, but that it grows in a peculiar fashion which makes brushing of that spot nearly out of a mere human's potential.
And it'll be really pain, i'm glad you'll be there.
goodnight

Diet Program for my dad

okay today's 1st june.
My dad's gonna start a super intensive diet program to help him lose fats.
He's currently at 87.something kg and i've tried again and again with various supplements and exercises - you name it, jogging, compund exercises, eating CLA, drinking tea, apple cider vinegar, etc.. to help him lose weight, but yet time and time, it doesn't seem to work.
Maybe cause he doesn't take into attention his lifestyle - food and lazy habits.

Ergo... i've created something after months of research and studies -
A MEAL REPLACEMENT SHAKE.
well, this shake (its called a shake cause you have to add all the stuffs and shake it with water or whatever milk or something) has gone through various modifications and amendments to have become what it is today.
The results are not finalised yet, cause i just came home from tuition and have school tmr at 8am and thus i don't have time to count all the nutrients in it, but the amount of nutrient he should get a day (3 shakes) should be roughly like this:

Calories: 400-600
Fats: 8-12g
Carbohydrates: 5-10g
Proteins: 40-50g

Vitamins A, B, C1, C2, C3, D, E and whatever (i forgot, haha must go check)
A few mg of each vitamins

Magnisium,
Sodium,
Iodine,
Calcium,
Potassium,
and about 5-10 more of those stuffs (i forgot too, i'll check soon)
A few mg of each element.

hm, idea for losing weight. Minimal amount of calories so that he doesn't get hungry. Minimal amount for fats and carbo which is essential and proteins which is also important for growth and weight loss. Vitamins and minerals can supplement vegetables and some meat stuffs.
Should work.

I guess that would be about it.
I'll post pictures and update about his fat lost. haha hope it works. :)

run.

So on the 29th of May, we had a vietnam bbq at my condo's bbq pit.
Its been awhile since we last met and i'm sure we all missed Vietnam.
And i might be going to Vietnam at the end of the year with the school again to help out!!
Anyway, the bbq was great, yeah great food, great people. had fun.
Didn't regret joining the trip. (though initially i reluctantly joined it)

Yesterday marked the end of Adidas Sundown Marathon.
Never was i so inspired to run. yes run.
Why was i there? not because i was running. haha but i was doing CIP!
And i was stationed at the end point with my friends to give out water.
Wah i see Old uncle, 73 year old can run 42km.
I see my school mates running 42km.
I see my PE teachers running 42km
Unbelievable, even Obese people, yes with the big tummies, also can complete.
Well the only difference was in the timing. Obviously my PE teacher ran a lot quicker, 4 hours++, while my friends, most of them came in around 6-8 hours with a few exceptionals of 4hours++ too.
the 73 year old guy came in in 7 hours+ and i thought to myself how exhilerating it would be to complete it.
So i'm quite determined to take part in Standard Charted full marathon (42.195km) at the end of the year. haha or at least a half or quarter marathon next year.
And most of the runners for double marathon, 84km, were uncles. lol a far bit of them were 40 and above.

It must be due to sundown marathon that i've have inadequate amount of sleep.
Feeling kinda sick now. shall sleep.
goodnight :)
