Christmas

okay lets start with Christmas eve.
Christmas eve, woke up early in the morning and i still felt a little bit giddy from the Shisha breathing but anyway i went back to sleep.
Kinda over slept; i was supposed to meet my friends at 12 for buffet lunch but i woke up at 12.30 thanks to weiloong who bothered to call me.
We dined at " My Humble House " its Celebrity Chef Sam Leong's own restaurant! and since buffet's only available on Christmas eve and Christmas, we decided to grapple the opportunity and booked a table.
I remember last year when i went there in berms and slippers, they wouldn't let us in even though we booked a huge table. So in the end my family and parents friends have to sit out side. haha but at least they set up tables for us.
Anyway Buffet was great. We ordered like 10 plates of prawns ( the mayo-wasabi prawns are really great ) and loads of other dishes.
Ended at 3pm. Then we slacked around outside Esplanade where the sea was really nice!

After that we walked around, my friend wanted to get something. Then went to my place at 6.30pm for dinner.
This year's Christmas celebrations are really awesome!
Anyway after dinner we chilled around for a bit then there were Caroling and a bit of preaching about Christmas.
Caroling was really fun! and Yong Jian sang his latest single released a few months back (haha) for everyone to hear. Really nice bro.
Oh we played guitars during the carol.

Jacket one: Bing Xun, Inbetween Jacket and red: Yi Xien, Red: Yong Jian
After the whole party, Yong Jian had no transport home so he and Weiloong stayed overnight at my place. At 1.30am we went swimming!
We played Adventure Island. Its a game by which we (2 ppl) sit in floats while the game master shove and pull us around the swimming pool. The game master creates fantasies for us during the ride. Its really fun cause normally the things are lame and funny. One part we were required to sing Christmas songs! lol at 2am! We were so noisy till the security guards came.
Anyway the themes: Jurassic park, Teletubbies Island and Pokemon Land.
We all slept at 3+ A.M. after a bleach anime.

Christmas! The day on its self, 25.12.2008
Woke up kinda early cause going to City Harvest church with Bingxun, weiloong and yong jian.
Met some SRJCians there. But only one came to wish me Merry Christmas.
After that around 3+ pm we went to Yong Jian's house to jam!
After Jamming, i headed down to a friend's Christmas party which coincidentally also has caroling! (okay maybe caroling's common)
Food was great, yeah really great. Had a really enjoyable time there till around 12am? then i had to transport home... but i didn't stay over haha. I flagged a cab home.
Now i'm really bankrupt.

The Day After Christmas, Boxing day. 26.12.2008
Hm, today's quite simple. Wake up, go see principal.
We were ordered to come at around 8am but he only talked to us at 12.30pm =.="
Okay so this is my punishment for drinking one mouthful of beer during vietnam and for being so "ke kian" to admit to the teachers that i did.
From this monday onwards till the 9th of jan, i have to go back to school from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Yeah, that kinda suck. But what's worse is that our Vietnam GCE teachers also have to come back though they didn't do anything wrong. Sorry teachers.
Went to church for some church camp planning at 3pm then had dinner at Swensen with ex tuition friends.
After that, i went out with parents to Orchard to view the Christmas Decorations (its like my family tradtion to do that evey year)

And we went to eat Swensens again !
oh last night i slept like 4 hours... so i'm really worn out that night.

alright. cya :D

CHRISTMAS EVE !!

hey, its Christmas eve already. (cause its after 12am)

Well today, or rather yesterday was kinda exciting. Did many things from morning to afternoon to night.
Watched "YES MAN" and "Twilight" already. Both are really great shows.
Yes man is incredibly funny and the story line's not bad.
Twilight, is a not bad show too considering it as a chick flick.

Oh came back around 1+ am today cause just now i went out with some of my sec sch friends to chill. After dinner, some of them went to drink/smoke shisha. I mainly went there to talk and catch up with them cause JC doesn't really allow me to socialise much. I didn't drink/smoke shisha though they tried forcing me. lol

i'm a bit giddy now. Must be from 2nd hand breathing of shisha.
goodnight :D

Christmas smiles

today i recieved a letter with my name on it! In it was a Christmas card.
Which reminds me, Christmas is approaching in 5 days time so i should start sending cards too. lol
Which reminds me, i'll have to go buy them soon too.

Goodnight, i'll go dream of Santa now.

Vietnam FTW!

Today i had tuition from 9am to 6pm.

But what was really exciting about today was that there was an early Christmas celebration!
Well, exclusive only to the Vietnam GCE (global Classroom Experience) people.
At 6pm i went to bishan, Samantha's house, for the party.
Had dinner, then watched a 40mins + 20mins video on the photos and video clips taken during the Vietnam trip. Oh we went to play ground and play around a little.
By then everyone was too tired to play games which were originally planned; but anyway we all enjoyed each other's presence.
It was awhile since we last gathered, the last time was on the last day of the 9 day trip, on the 9th of december.
I haven't regretted going to Vietnam although initially i've always wanted to go to Yang Shou cause most of the Rock Moc people are going there and i have friends there.
At the beginning of all the Vietnam meetings i had no friends but after awhile i made some.
The trip was really great cause i made really good friends.
Lots of things have changed, people start talking and doing stupid things during the trips. Which really helped in social cohesion. People whom i've never known, i know better. Now i've got more friends. lol
9 days wasn't enough to really get to know them at best but still it was sufficient to enjoy and socialise well.
Friends made the trip really fun and exciting because trust me, (no offence) Vietnam has really close to 0% leisure and recreational activities. Shopping there isn't as great as Thailand.
But the people i've met on the trip, priceless.
Today was a great day. I'm starting to miss Vietnam people. lol

oh watch this. ITS REALLY FUNNY

Lets party to the AM with our hands in the Ayer.

i'll blog and upload more pics about vietnam another time. i'm really lazy and this christmas ziting and stephanie and chelsea and suyin went overseas =.="
which means 4 people less to celebrate with.

Anyway on the brighter note, yesterday i went to come cross play at EXPO cause my sister went to cross play. tell me about it, i'm shocked too.
Its a really fun experience.
I got to see people cross playing in Naruto, Bleach, Reborn, Inuyasha, One Piece, Final Fantasy and loads of other cool animes.
There were many groups; there was one really big one which consisted of all the naruto people. Basically all the good guys + the ataksuki.
I've got pictures but some are in the camera and i'm lazy. These are from handphone which can be easily transferred through blue tooth.

Okay here goes, That's a Giraya San wanna be below with his **** book. I'm didn't give a thumbs up, i was possessed. And no i do not watch porn. Its disrespectful.

Now, i think that's bettleman or whatever. I gotta give the best dress award to this guy. Okay pardon me for the retarded smile. I was really amused by his costume and random-action-packed-actions. lol

okay i met my friend there, the one closest to me. The pink girl's quite cute while the girl in the middle looks like she's about to fall asleep. Nowonder they were queueing up to purchase some coffee.

and the last photo is a group picture of some final fantasy characters.

Its so fun to crossplay. One day i'll find an anime character that looks like me and i'll go to these stuffs to experience it first hand. :D
I'm going MJC tmr at 8am so i got to sleep already. goodnight

how were the stars over there

Oh vietnam's great, except that their food and toilets are =.="
No offense but they're worse than Singapore's Coffee Shop's toilet.
Which reminds me why i should be more appreciative and contended.
I'm gonna blog about vietnam soon but not now cause i'm kinda lazy and my stomach's killing me. I got diarrhoea like millions of times a day. Must be the sea food in vietnam (which kinda suck) that's dirty.
Oh and Vietnam's cold.

Here's a rough plan on what we did:

Day 1:
Assemble at Singapore Airport, stupid guide book the teacher gave me said its terminal 3 but actually its terminal 2.
Departed to Hanoi; 3 hours flight.
Touched down then took a long bus to Friendship Village (its quite a large home for orphans affected by Agent Orange, a liquid America sprayed druing WW2 which causes deformed growth)
Did some CIP, played with the kids there
Then take an over night train to Sapa.

Day 2:
Start Treking FansiPan

Day 3:
Still Treking FansiPan in the freezing cold.
Reach summit.
Trek down.

Day 4:
Still Treking down FansiPan in the freezing cold.
Then went to a Minority Village called Giay Minority.
The first time i bathed in 4 days. lol

Day 5:
The home stay at Giay Minority was great but the water is freezing cold.
Sometimes i wonder how i managed to bathe.
Did CIP with primary school kids; build fences, paint the school, carried rocks, cut wood and do a lot of stuffs.
Really fun

Day 6:
Went to pluck Taipoca for cip.
One basket full of taipoca carried on my back was 20+kg. Very difficult to climb down the hill with it.

Day 7:
Went to another Minority Village at Bac Ha.
In the morning went to the Bac Ha Market. (cross culture lol)
Took the over night train back to Hanoi

Day 8:
Halong Bay; i can't believe i paid SGD$4 for 3 hours of boat ride there.
Furthermore Halong Bay is recognized as World's Natural Heritage.
Had bad Sea Food lunch and dinner.
First night we stay in Hotel.
Party until must see principal.

Day 9:
Return back to Singapore

AND HOW DO I UPLOAD ALL THE VIETNAM PICTURES ON FACEBOOK !!! (we're supposed to share there)
