‎"Why We Shout In Anger"

'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other to cover that great distance.'

What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is either nonexistent or very small...'

'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.'

have you ever woken up one day,
with the feeling that you've been away?

for today, for tonight, not quite.

what does it mean,
if the boy that you dreamt of last night,
had the same dream,
in the very same scene,
with the very same girl?

hold on tight.

It has been a week since london fashion week and me, being terribly slow in updates and uploading pictures have finally gone through the massive load of pictures my friends and i took over the last 3 days that we went for.

It's my very first fashion week and im very thankful for the love london showed me and my outfit which can be seen in lfwdaily newspaper, sites such as WGSN, ELLE UK and stylist. It is indeed heartwarming when my friends back comment, "you made singapore proud!" blush*

So we're pretty much halfway through term 2 and it's still winter. No words can describe how much i miss the warmth, sun and most of all, lazy days by the beach. ive picked up a new hobby - cooking. Believe it or not. In Singapore, it's kind of pointless to cook since you can get a heaping plate of Hokkien Mee for $3, while the cheapest nosh easily available here is probably a cold sandwich or a kebab for £4, about $8. That has unleashed the homebody in me. And I've got pictures to prove it:

complete with my recipe sharing page HERE! It's funny how before I left for London, everyone dissuaded me to cook in case I force it down their throats, and now I get so many comments on FB asking me to cook for them/ offering to do a taste test. Haha.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a lovely Chinese New Year wherever you are, filled with love and lots of food. I had my first CNY without the family in this dreadful cold, thankfully with the company of friends. There were tons of food, including a modified Lou Hei courtesy of Angie.

Of course we had to watch an old HK flick (from youtube plugged to the TV) and gamble to complete the festivities like how everyone does during CNY anyway.

It's amazing how time flies and by March I would have been here for half a year. I tell myself I could get used to this, but I know that at the end of the day, probably not.
