Camping

We went Camping for the first time with just our little family. We always go with friends or family which we completely love but it was well do time for just "US" time. We had a blast playing in the river and shooting bottles. We are not raising a Girlie- Girl thats for sure....
Oakley and her pet DOG...
Teach them young.. hahaha She's a good little shooter already.

Don't put a hot pot of oil on a plastic picnic table.... That was a CAZ moment.....

TO YOU MY DARK HAIR BEAUTY:

Miss Autumn Faith, a week from tomorrow would be your FIRST birthday. We would celebrate by watching you shove frosting in your face and marvel at the way you've grown. How long your dark locks have gotten and laughed at all your sill little faces. But, a week from tomorrow we won't watch your chunky fingers play in the frosting, instead we will sit at your grave and sing you a song. We will send you kisses tided to the end of balloons and cover your grave in flowers. We will marvel at the thought that a year has come and gone so quickly. We'll most likely talk about your adorable crooked feet and beautiful fetchers. We'll tell you how we long to kiss you a thousand times, the light your strong spirit is. We will feel the wind around us and know you are there.

You are a little and a big sister now, thank you for taking on the roll of the example. Thank you for being close to Oakley for dancing with her in her dreams and making faces at her in the sky. I feel so blessed for having such beautiful daughters so close to their Heavenly Father. Keep reminding them of the reality of Heaven.

As you sit with your baby sister until we meet her special spirit. Remind her to always have faith in the unseen. To stay close to the sun (son). Autumn I know you've been blessed with a great work ahead of you. Remember, though our bodies may be miles apart our spirits are closer than we think. That someone on earth can be praying for the spirits in Heaven. Just like the spirits in Heaven pray for us here. Tell your baby sister I can't wait to kiss her toes. I love my girls more than life. Until we meet again my messenger girl, thank you for all the notes from Heaven. I will always be your pen pal. We  love you so much more than anyone else could ever know.

Update

We have had a very BUSY..... summer this year. Sorry, you would never know it according to all my hot blogging. So here is a small update. I've been crazy busy with photography this year and am about ready to take a break. Caz is busting his butt at work and we feel like we only see each other on Sundays. My garden is beautiful and I've had a blast working in the yard this year. I've done apricot jam and fruit leather and I've already done 10 bottles of pickles. I can't wait for my tomatoes and pears to come on. Oakley has been the worlds best helper in the garden and around the house. We bought a camper but have only had time to use it once so that makes us sad. I've been to Girls Camp and Bear Lake this month along with a Family Reunion and a hundred other things. I haven't even posted that we are PREGNANT.... hahaha yes baby GIRL #3 and Due October 22. I've already lost count of how far along I am and YES, I feel like I've been prego half my life already. We can not wait to kiss her toes a thousand times. So to all of my family members that cant wait to hold her, lets just say you will be lucky if you get to touch her. I'm totally going to be one of those snobby moms that don't let anyone else hold their baby. HAHAHA

Here are some pictures from the 4th of July my FAVORITE holiday.
I can't decide if my Oakley Girl is anything like me...... hahah Yes, we think we are cute! :)

Happy Hawaii Post

Hawaii was a BLAST! When the sun blessed us with it's rays we were on the beach making sand castles and burring Oakley in the sand. She loved the sand and ocean. Whenever we left the beach she would ask us if we were still in Hawaii? When I'd tell her yes! She would say,"I want the other Hawaii." (meaning the beach). Pineapple ice cream is the greatest thing ever made. We saw all the Island due to the rain we had lots of time to drive around which we love doing anyways. The North Shore had the best Mexican food and again the ice cream... Holy Cow, it was true love!  We stopped at a shrimp shack because some friends told us it's the best ever. Well, needless to say when the shrimp came out with black eye balls staring at me I was not sure, I went ahead and started eating them but once I saw the blood from pulling the heads off. (puke) I lost my appetite real fast and was ready for a McDonald's after that. I made a horrible noise every time we passed a shrimp cart after that. I know super mature.... We saw the temple and went to the PCC which was amazing and nothing like I thought it would be. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Something I found interesting about the Temple was above the fountain it said Maternity! We had so much fun exploring this beautiful Island and being together as a Family.
My cute mom came as our
Babysitter so we could go out at night.

My Bitter Hawaii post

When you think of Hawaii this is one of the many beautiful pictures that come to my mind. Blue sky, blue green water, swimming suits and sunscreen. Warm weather and the time of your life letting the sun kiss your skin brown.

Well this is our Hawaii, we are standing on the very same beach as the picture about. I don't see blue sky, the water is poo brown, We are not in swimming suits, the sun has not shown it's self in 5 days, Sunscreen what the heck is that. Brown skin, thast for a different race. Oh, and you can't see it in the picture but it is raining. Awesome! I'm so glad I spent all the money to go to beautiful Hawaii for 8 days and got to enjoy flash flood warnings, the first hale storm in 50 years. Thunder storms that scared me half to death, We couldn't even go over to Kauai like planned because half the roads got washed out. Not to mention we went Whale watching in the rain because we were determined to have a good time and I got the first stages of Hipothermia. Seriously who can say that. What a pathetic place so many call beautiful. HAHAHA if I sound completely BITTER it's because in this moment I could care less to ever go to the Islands again.
We really did have a blast and I'll go back some day. But those words are for my Happy Hawaii post not yet posted.....

Snow Finally

I didn't think we would get enough snow to make a snowman this year. But Finally 2 days before we go to Hawaii we got 2 whole inches. wooo hooooo..... This is the first snowman we've made since Oakley was born. She had more fun eating the snow then helping but I sure did have fun. Even our snowman is ready for Hawaii. Hhahah Yes, I'm a dork.
