Disney again

Did I tell you that I lost my phone on the way to Disney World? I probably already told you.  At the time this was DISASTROUS! I had everything on my phone including, but not limited to: reservations, check in codes, agendas, fast passes, camera, plus all the normal phone stuff! I freaked out and could not be consoled for awhile, had a bit of a fit and then moved on.  Miraculously, my phone was found by a jetblue employee who contacted my sister who contacted my husband and all was well that ends well. I was able to pick up my phone at the end of our trip.  It actually turned out to be a huge blessing.  We pretended like it was the early 1990's and set up meeting places, since we couldn't text, and who ever was not on a ride, got to hold Jim's phone. I was not once distracted by instagram, email, texts, facebook, or news. I was really immersed in the magic!! I highly recommend losing your phone (and then having it found) or you could just leave your phone at home.

Lilly used Jim's phone to take a lot of selfies. Here she is in front of the newly renovated Disney Springs Christmas tree.

All packed!

I still had my phone ON the plane and took these pictures...

Disney Springs had a very impressive light show that used drones with lights to tell a Christmas story. It was beautiful. Another perk of going to Disney in January was experiencing all the Christmas decorations and displays.

Drone light show below.

Disney parade

Because this is MY blog, I can add as many Disney pictures as I want without worry of overloading social media or making people jealous. Every time I ask Lucy what her favorite part of Disney World was, her answer is always the same: the parade. It was spectacular.

Sea World - Orlando

I love sea life. I love aquariums. My life long dream was to go to sea world and visit the killer whales. I finally made that dream come true. It was heart warming and heart breaking. As an avid lover of sea life, I watched the documentary, Blackfish, three times. This tainted my visit, and juxtaposed with the magic of Disney World on the coldest day of the year in Orlando, it wasn't everything I wanted it to be.  It was so cold that the roller coasters were shut down, because parts of the track were frozen.
That being said, Orcas are magical creatures and amazing to see in person.  I'm happy my childhood dream came true and I crossed it off my bucket list.
