It's Nap Time Now (Thanks to Teddy Ruxspin Jr.)
It was Sunday Morning and the two men in my life assumed the position and took an early AM nap. I thought it was so cute. Bruce will hate me sharing this but he has no say in that! This is my blog and my post :). So later that afternoon, as they resumed his same position for Afternoon Nap, I went to church thinking it rather mean that I could not join in the Sunday nap as well. Late church is kicking my behind because I miss my nap time! (Yes I am 33 years old and need a nap just like any smart child/adult of any age)

On my way home...
On my way home from work and hating the stream of red lights in front of me. I do love sitting on the bus and not having to be the driver, but would love the "beam me up Scottie" even better.
The last 6 months have gone by in a flash. I am amazed I am still alive, given the huge work load I have at my job and the ever present demands of trying to keep life balanced between work, home, church, etc. I have a hard time feeling like I have balanced everything appropriately, but then again I let Satan creep in and undermine my self confidence and understanding that I am a Daughter of God. I have infinite and divine potential. I can do anything with His help and need to keep my focus on the eternities and not allow the short term demands in life to weigh me down.
I love having my testimony of Jesus Christ and his love for each of us as individuals. It blesses me every day and allows me the opportunity to right my wrongs and improve myself continually. I depend upon His strength to keep me going every day. I love my family and am very grateful for the support and love they give to me.

Ode to a Puppy and then a Giraffe
You came into our house as a bundle of fun. Kept Mom (myself) and Dad (Bruce) busy and always on the run. We named you Whiskey and you are very friskey.
Whiskey was very well behaved and snuggled with Grandma Mace for about 45 minutes while she was watching Green Acres. I loved all of the special presents that I received from my family that knows me so well...what can I say I love Giraffes!!! From fluffy stuffed cuddly ones, to the cute paper towel holder that Aunt Catherine got me, to the awesome figurines from my mother-in-law and sister. What I love most of all was the cute pictures that my nieces and nephews colored and drew for me and Bruce of giraffes. It was very thoughtful of them and I was able to proudly display them first on my fridge and now at work. Last but not least my presents were rounded out by crafts that I have received :) Love you Mom!!! Boy do you know that I need to detox from work and this will help me tremendously.
