hoho. changed the layout of my blog. now my tagboard is BRIGHT AND GLAREY. so that more people can tag and find it. some stupid logic of mine. xD and ive added MY BIRTHDAY COUNTDOWN so that ppl know when my b-day is. i dont expect any presents tho. coz its during the HOLS. =( oh well. juz a note of happy birthdy over msn or maybe an ecard would do. =P
hello! xD today had reading cartwheel. =( was okay i guess. i kept stammering and ms foo didnt switch on the lights. !!!!!! so dark. i can infer from this that ms foo does not like light but instead the darkness. =P anw. i answered 3/6 qns. quite okay i guess. then the 2nd grp went. i think they thot their's was tmr. =O after the 2nd grp went we were supposed to do some compre but we slacked for 1/2 hr until 11.30 then we started doing. haha. oh well.
after lunch had home econs. TRIED to make mooncakes. ewwww. you know how much TRANS FAT we added into the snowskin mooncake! so scary lah. so oily somemore. coz FATS is the solid form of OIL. =P hohohoho. didnt like the mooncakes so ate abit of 1 and gave the rest (3 more) to keyu. so she has SEVEN. hah. then back to the classroom zhi yun and victoria were like 'why you never give me arh. why you give keyu never give me!'. haha. then i sat on zhi yun for a while. then we went to the middle of the class. and i stood there talking to someone else and there zhi yun was fiddling wiht my shoelaces. she tied my two shoes together. -.- then i was watching her but didnt do anything. then she was like ' you no reaction de!' then i was like 'i dont talk to retards'. =P
ho and she made me jump with my tied up feet. then i
put my two feet together and jumped twice its actually easier to keep your feet together. =P learnt something new. actually i USED MY BRAIN TO THINK. wahaha.

HMPH. IE died on me again. =( freako. i love mozilla. anw. went out today after church until now which is abt 8 liddat luh. hoh. went esprit to see see then i bought a nice nice jacket. but it costs a bomb.
$165++ okay nvm. then went around to see DVDS. haha. i want buy war and peace and snow queen. xD after that bought mooncakes. haha. finished those at home. bought ICE CREAM! ben and jerry's. it was on discount. xD ate stuff then went home. watching tom and jerry now. damn fascinated. haha. after this ill mug. didnt blog ytd. didnt even touch the comp. -.- had vegetarian noodles for breakfast. then my parents came back from macritchie and bought me sushi luh. quite okay. went to veoh[dot]com (not sure why i put "." as [dot] tho. learn from jo de)to find snow queen. didnt find it and was too lazy to search thoroughly. and i SHOULDNT be watching so much tv and stuffs. =(
ytd i slept straight after school until like 11pm. then woke up to eat. haha. until 0030. actually didnt want to get up. but was feeling kinda hungry. =D after that did abit of maths and went online and saw kh still awake. he still mugging haha. he so pro lah. this week i see him almost everyday also 12plus 1plus still online and awake. haha. then ytd he asked me why i so late still haven sleep. then i told him that i was bu-chong-ing my time that i had wasted. =( then he said lol. he COPY me lor. always say lol. then i also dun care abt him le so i went to sleep. xD haha. thats all for now. finish hw then shall go mug. oh somebody please BRAINWASH me so that i can study. =(

today first period was chinese. discussed textbook for so damn long. then watched some video abt 红头巾. the commentary was by the YOUNGER 周崇庆. haha. he's so damn old now lah. at the end there were 生词s. like WTF. watch video still have sheng ci. somemore he always go say what 同学们...in such a gay voice. =/
then had geog. did some settlement thing luh. she doesnt compliment ppl. =( i think ours was the crappest lah.
lang arts. did a summary which i rushed by anw. i dont care. finished my maths corrections which i started during chinese during the leftover time. haha. i was supposed to be READING. my new book is abt how to raise a child with autism. like WTF. heck care them lah. not as if i have an autistic child. dropped notes luh. wrote the title of each chapter. haha. xD damn boring. dont read it. i think all those books are sucky. so many of those books are abt war and dunno what heartland. i heck care the past lha. hmph.

had maths. i tot i didnt bring my APs. turned out i did. haha. i was doing the AP corrections during chinese and geog and LA. boring. im so proud of my AP2. hahahahaha. you should look at it. its the NEATEST piece of maths i ever did. coz for once i decided to be guai. =D im ALWAYS guai anw. =P
haha. after sch. went to do some moe survey. they say what moe choose me. hoh. i dont believe is moe choose me de lor. whatever lah.
then had lantern making. haha. i missed the table arranging part. xD i so slack. keyu asked me to introduce myself. so i said. 'hi im eva' there done. haha. xD i commenced DRAWING with my beloved lyra markers on the newspaper. haha. waste ink lah. dont care. not i buy one. made lantern and almost went bonkers trying to make our 'porian'. haha. pomelo and durian. we used up alot of paint. haha. xD initially we were going to make durian. then keyu came back from washing the paint in teh sinks.0_0 horror of horrors. then later i went toilet to wash my hand and found the sink FLOODED with dirty paint water. ewwwww. keyu said that it looked like a pomelo. so we named it porian luh. nice name eh. I THINK ONE! the fajar ppl didnt even do much and THEY GOT THE PRIZE. HMPH. the prize is OURS AND OURS FOREVER. ggrah. who wants to go to their school for hari raya arh. dont want arh! after that had prize presentation. our porian got in! xD among the best 10 out of 100+.. xintong they all also got in. haha. they labeled their lantern with their names. then they got up on the podium and told the psl that their lantern was 4D. lol. and they thot one lantern is shi yan's group and another is 4D. hohohoho. so amusing. hoi.
eh wait. before that we gathered in our 餐厅 as the teacher( i duinno her name) calls it. its our canteen. -.- then we got cheap mooncakes and a bottle of water and a decayed yam. EWWWWW. i tried the dou sha and it tasted like it had PLASTIC melted in it. disgusting. but its cheap. no choice. i threw it away. then gong yuan's hotel mooncake i think its supposed to be chocolate filling but it tasted like peanut butter. thats the last thing i want in there. =/ went home with jo and jesslene. jo actually didnt want to come with us. say what dian deng pao. LOL. three 74s passed before 157 came. =( haha. jo was sleeping in teh bus and jess was STONING. wahaha. jess is damn lag lah. call her so many times then she answer. i was zi-highing as usual. but quite tired lah. shant zi-high so much. it wastes alot of energy. haha. xD then later changed at macritchie and took 74. i am such a money waster. haha. xD i want a PASS. nvm. went home and got chased by my mother to go bathe. =/

yay. my 65th post. 我博客posts的六十五岁大寿。haha. dont know what posts is in chinese. i dont think it existed.
i say that only to comfort myself on my poor poor chinese so basically today was suckkkkyyyyyy. like i expected. had TWO COMPOS. one chinese one english. like DUH. there's no compo for maths and science and history and geography and whatsoever lame crap subjects.
in the morning had PE. had theory test first luh. was surprisingly easy. but the results might come out as surprisingly tho. =/ then had some briefing for end of year interclass competition. pickle ball. pickle ball sucks. prefer squash. pickle ball the board so small and hard. then sometimes ppl hit me with it. =( very painful you know!!!!! hmph.nobody wanted to sign up for the pickle ball coz its individual. ended up only zhi yun and heng yeng?? and gong yuan signed up. brave souls i call. or 'ms chang calls!' bleah. i cnat be bothered.
gong yuan and hengyeng?? were in plate and zhi yun put her name in plate too but in the end the teacher changed for her ;)
haah. so then the rest of us played captains ball. was in a team with jo, wang qing and jingyi. bleah to u-know-who. she kept throwing the ball in less than 4 passes lah. okay. im no pro either. but at least i can count and receive and throw. >.< wang qing was cool. jo was too. there was once i held the ball for too long and then timed out luh. sorry aye? oh ya. then there was this place the red footpath. dunno why it was real slippery and i nearly did a split when i slipped. eeeeeee.
then had chinese compo. i almost couldnt write. too tired. then recess. ate nothing. had bio. lame chop. some ppl never do the bio book A so when ms chen ask us if we had more answers everybody said that we had the same answer. xD there was a whole chain of 'same answer's. haha. xD i tink the record was 7 times.
boo. then had the compo time trial. it SUCKED. shit. i dunno what i was writing about. im really going to fail this. =(((((((
then lunch. ate LAKSA!!!! i love it. shi yan fed me abit of her chawanmushi and i snatched 3 wedges from her. xD i wanted to eat mua chee too. but no time le.
after that was art luh. so sickening. didnt bring my visual diary and therefore will have no marks. oh. i have yet to dig it up anw. shall go now.
after school took 156 with jesslene. changed at macritchie. damn lot of ppl. scgs lah, dunno what dunno what. alot of schools. and the bus went one big round before reaching macritchie. oh well. =(

hohoho. what a fruitful weekend. i got TAGS. yesh. muacks to joy,le ting, guo chang, xintong, jo, shi yan and perry! wahaha. xD i gave a hug to jo and shi yan today. coz i promised them a promise and therefore i kept that promise. oh im laming again. i was totally zi-high today lah. xDDDDDDDDD love myself. mostly of all, i love god. the almighty and awesome god. =D he gave me life and i shall not go around wasting my life away and claiming that it is meaningless.
tot we had reading cart wheel today. ended up changing seats. oh my beloved seat partners. =( dont go away! had chinese. oh. we're supposed to find 节日 stuff. grah. havent done maths 15.2 dunno how to do. =( i suck. officially suck. okay nvm. be happy. =D then was chinese speech. changed the jimmy story the what 我的错都是大人的错。that jimmy story luh. i wanted to photocopy it de! hmph. nvm. then we changed to 卖火柴的小女孩. bleah. disgusting story. spent half an hour trying to figure out how to make that sparkling effect of teh matches on stage without naked flames. boo. disgusting. then after that we 排练ed abit. was with keyu! xD im starting to love keyu as well. haha. so basically wasted time.
after that was PHYSICS SPA. gosh. was okay i guess. was like the mock test that we did, except taht we used weights instead of marbles. eeeeee. the teacher stare stare stare. everybody finished in half an hour. then mrs wong mentioned that we should do the experiment again to double check the density. didnt help. =O the figures were totally crappy. =/ i totally freaked out coz i didnt add the previous masses of the marbles together. then i quickly rushed rushed rushed. at first i tot i didnt have time coz i tot the lesson started at 10.45 dumb eva. nvm. the teachers didnt even bother to off the fans for us lah. then the wind blew on the balances and disrupted the figures. bleah. inconsiderate.
after that at 12 had lunch. during lunch we discussed how to do the recipe cards. jo was like volunteering to do everythign. lol. she wanted to use the photoshop trial to do the cards. she says her dad's goign to buy the pirated version of photoshop for her. horror of horrors. i hate piracy. i support youtube tho. irony of ironies. here's a question for kyme to ponder. why does youtube not get sue-ed even thou it supports piracy?

oh. im depressed. i broke my poor poor calculator ytd. =( my table was too cluttered and i was arranging it and POOF i knocked down my poor calculator onto the floor. and the screen was shattered coz it fell face down. =( oh there's a hole in my pocket. =( my dad actually made me pay. but he has been ridding me of my allowance recently so therefore he decides not to make me pay. haha. xD but i never do use my allowance anw. the money i use in school isnt my allowance. =D is i steal one. LOL. i get my allowance every day. muahahaha. somemore is i take myself de. whee. =D damn high and sniffing btw. =+( ive got this horrid flu that formed today. ohh. =( ytd i had a sore throat. i always know that when i have sore throats that means that a flu storm is preceding. is that the correct word/ oh i dont know.
today i went school for maths. taught us polygons. for some stupid reason i can never draw diagrams fast enough. =( so i was well behind. oh well. time to catch up at home. and oh. i kept saying to shi yan that i felt threatened coz everybody was mugging. cant believe jaslyn seah, jesslene lee and sheena have finished studying. oh well. WHAT AM I DOING HERE? =(
so after maths stayed back for LA to finish my book. its really nice. its called 'THE OUTSIDERS' by S E Hinton. yep. dun care if you want to read it or not. this blog's juz for my memories. NOBODY EVER VISITS IT without my forcefulness. =( i post ALOT. =( sucky people. =(
then went kap for lunch and to do home econs with jo and jingyi. oh well. im a dao-er irony or not, i dont care. (kh, that sounds familiar?) yep. ate abit of my mcflurry and gave the rest of it to jo. haha. i can never finish mcflurrys. xD i finished my mcwings (surprisingly) and we spent abit of time figuring out how to do the HE stuff. was a bore. jingyi kept staring at me with those big eyes of hers. scary man.

[Study links attention problems to early TV viewing

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Watching television more than two hours a day early in life can lead to attention problems later in adolescence, according to a study released on Tuesday.
The roughly 40 percent increase in attention problems among heavy TV viewers was observed in both boys and girls, and was independent of whether a diagnosis of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder was made prior to adolescence.
The link was established by a long-term study of the habits and behaviors of more than 1,000 children born in Dunedin, New Zealand, between April 1972 and March 1973.
The children aged 5 to 11 watched an average of 2.05 hours of weekday television. From age 13 to 15, time spent in front of the tube rose to an average of 3.1 hours a day.
"Those who watched more than two hours, and particularly those who watched more than three hours, of television per day during childhood had above-average symptoms of attention problems in adolescence," Carl Landhuis of the University of Otago in Dunedin wrote in his report, published in the journal Pediatrics.
Young children who watched a lot of television were more likely to continue the habit as they got older, but even if they did not the damage was done, the report said.
"This suggests that the effects of childhood viewing on attention may be long lasting," Landhuis wrote.
Landhuis offered several possible explanations for the association.
One was that the rapid scene changes common to many TV programs may overstimulate the developing brain of a young child, and could make reality seem boring by comparison.
"Hence, children who watch a lot of television may become less tolerant of slower-paced and more mundane tasks, such as school work," he wrote.
It was also possible that TV viewing may supplant other activities that promote concentration, such as reading, games, sports and play, he said. The lack of participation inherent in TV watching might also condition children when it comes to other activities.
The study was not proof that TV viewing causes attention problems, Landhuis said, because it may be that children prone to attention problems may be drawn to watching television.
"However, our results show that the net effect of television seems to be adverse," he wrote.
Previous studies have linked the sedentary habit of TV watching among children to obesity and diabetes, and another study in the same journal cited the poor nutritional content of the overwhelming majority of food products advertised on the top-rated U.S. children's television shows.
Up to 98 percent of the TV ads promoting food products that were directed at children aged 2 through 11 "were high in either fat, sugar, or sodium," wrote Lisa Powell of the University of Illinois in Chicago.

so this morning my friend went to my house to "do work" while our mothers went shopping. we spent most of the time watching HSM2 on youtube. =D we played games too. and i didnt do anything coz i was helping my friend do her english. wow long time since i called lang arts english. haiz/. so i taught her vocab cloze and compo/. dammit. my vocab's really limited.=( its a KNOWN FACT. =P so anw. I SUPPORT SHARPAY. HAHA. coz i like ashley more than vanessa. =/ whatever.
and you know what. some idiot called kh asked me at 12mn last night some stupid COMPUTER QUESTION which he obviously knows i dont know coz im a computer freak. he actually ASKED ME. okay. nicely said, he doesnt have anybody else to ask. HORRIBLY, is coz he wants to suan me. okay. i shall be nice and say that he only wants to suan me. fine. very nice. okay. WHATEVER. argh.

okay. im so going to post after IE died on me for the 3rd time in 24hrs. sickening. so i shall start with teachers day celebrations on fri 31 aug. was quite okay. 103 got to perform for th concert. but we were in the 2nd part of the concert so we had to wait outside teh benches near the asthetics dept and near teh TOILET to wait for our turn . marilyn kept sitting on me. haha. i allowed her to anw. =P then something happened and i started jumping to reach the board that zhi yun held high up. we were spoiling the board. =P sorry shiyan. haha. i realized a fact!
zhiyun cant jump high. =x dont be offended!haha. nvm. then it was finally our turn was quite okay i guess. then after that jing ying shi yan leting jaslyn and josephine? oh shoot. i forgot who. me and my bad memos. =( anw. so while others were crushed up on the 3rd floor, we were at the back of the hall. where we had lots of free space to move around. too bad. =P performance was quite okay. found some of the scences too irrelevant. but nvm. then the teachers' play was quite exciting. i loved the mr chia one. haha. xD xin tong loves mr chia and she knows it! xD

so after school went to amk hub to meet my friends to buy cake from breaktalk. for teachers. waited for damn long then finally saw valerie and then yoong kwei. i brought the plates from jaslyn. haha. xD so finally we bought the cake after waiting for jolene lee for damn long. =/ then we went to take bus. and we tot we forgot peisin but when we got to dq she was already there. like. huh? since when did that happen anw. say lc. felt nothing. he's too old. i even say that kh is old when kh's younger than lc. talk abt being even older than old. wahaha. sorry. =/ yep. then we signed cards for the teachers and almost every teacher i put that they were the bestest in the world. ahha. xD =x
served cake. ON JASLYN'S PLATES! held mrs tan's cake for damn long. -.- then went toiet. spent a long time sitting on the toilet reminscing abt the past. LOL. nah. i didnt. haha. i was out in aplenty of time and staring at myself in the mirror. then after that went to the P1 classrooms and opened the door and sat down. reminscing the past again. wahhaa. the chairs and tables are so short. then the janitor came so i went out. (i was with weilu all teh time) then finally lingered for a very long time near the GO. then went home lor. wanted to drink bubble tea with weilu but i saw my bus so i ran to catch it. reminscing again the time when i used to chase the bus after school. =P in teh end i ran past the bubble tea shop and found that it wasnt even there after all. too bad then. but that paricular bubble tea shop always causes me a stomachache. =( but nvm. so went home lor. and wasted my whole life away watching tv and sleeping.
so on sat i woke up at 12pm. so cool rite. ahha.
okay. sunday. which means today. went to church as usual. have a lovely sermon. gave my mum alot to think abt anw. =P i took notes. see i so guai. but anw. its ying gai de. and oh. i juz found out that tak yan(my church friend) got into nanyang. WOOHOO! wahaha. =P im overjoyed. im going to write letters to her every single day. yippie! lalala. anw. i had forgotten abt it until i typed abt church. ugh. critisise me on how bad my memo is! =(
anw. after that my parents went home first. then my parents friend drove me and her daughter to amkhub(again) to eat luhh. ate korean food. hot hot hot! spicy i mean. =D
after that went to watch ratatouille(FINALLY GOT THE SPELLING CORRECT). was fab. really. i think i can be a movie critic. =P instead of a food one. we watched teh 4.30 one. but the actual show started at 4.35. i think the beginning the ufo thingy was a wee bit irrelevant but no less amusing. wow. a critics words. wahaha. egoness.
yep then went to eat ichiban sushi. felt really full after that. if i hadnt worn a elastic ?? trousers i think all the buttons would ahve fallen off. and guess how much the bill was? it cracked jackpot. $123. so cool rite. =P really. i can show you the reciept. =D haha nvm im being random again. actually my friend and i wanted to watch ratatouille then after dinner go watch another show. but it didnt work out anw. ahha. so i gtg slp now. such a long post. but no tags. sickening. =( TAG! whatever. i couldnt care less.
