I made a carriage cake and baby block cake for my sister-in-laws baby shower.
it was a white cake with chocolate buttercream icing....
I'm going to make a lady bug cake for Hannah's birthday.
I need REAL tools though... i'm doing all the decorations with the spray can icings and tips... lol

We went to the YMCA water park here in Montgomery for Andrew and Hannah's Cousin Jacksons Birthday party. It was Hannah's first time in the pool, she didn't like it to much... andrew didn't like it at first, but then he warmed up! :)

these are the pillows and curtains I made for Andrews future room. We are going to paint the bottom of his room the green and the top of his room the blue, then we will paint a brown treen trunk with some green leaves going up the corner of one wall! ;) I can't wait.
I bought the comforter and shams at target, along with all the monkey accesories! Grammy Vallely sent money for andrews b-day and I used it for that. Then I bought some fabric, along with a shower curtin(the only jungle fabric i could find that matched) and turned it all into pillows and curtains... I'm not finished with the curtains, cus i'm waiting to see what size the windows are! :)

Last Sunday afternoon pinic on the pattio

My self hair cut...

I was bored...

I thought to my self... Cut my hair!...

Then I said I won't cut it to short, that way if I mess up there will be enough Hair left for a professional to fix....


Then I chopped off 4 inches in one spot and said 'I'M so stupid....

did I stop there???...

NO of course Not, I couldn't leave it like that... so Off I went....
saying in my head the whole time "i'm so stupid, I'm so stupid"....

For Andrews Actual Birthday, we took him to Red Robin. IT was fun... then we went to pets mart and saw all the animals! ;)
The Next day we set up the turtle pool and went swiming! :)

ON MAY 31st, we will be closing on our house in Sanford! PRAISE THE LORD!

What a relief! Thanks to the SMITH family who are going to be buying it!

practice cake....

This is the cake I practiced making for Andrew and Brooks Birthday.... I had to make sure I could do it! ;) The fondant (icing) comes in packets of 4 colors, so I saved the BLUE for saturday... for the BLUES CLUES cake! :)

Tonight, Mimi, Papa, Aunt Bebe and our family went to dinner at a Chinese restaurant....
We were all enjoying our dinner when I look up to see that Andrew had reached over and grabbed Mimi's WINE GLASS and was drinking it!!!!!! Luckily there was only one or 2 sips left!!!!!!! He then looked up and stuck his tongue out and said "yuck!"
We where all laughing, and I was freaking out... :) and then Andrew grabs his little bowl of ketchup and starts trying to drink it to get the flavor out of his mouth! :) Poor kid, he couldn't reach his sippy cup, so he was drinking anything he could find! ;)

anyway, just thought I'd share! ;)

McDonalds and Cars.....

On my way to Hobby Lobby. we stopped at the bank....

in the line of the bank Andrew asked for Chicken nuggets....

I realized I didn't really feed him a suitable lunch, so I told him we would go get some nuggets....

I pulled around to exit the bank and was waiting for it to be clear of cars when I hear Andrew say....

"EXCUSE ME CARS"

Where in the world does he get these things from??!?? I don't' think I've ever said Excuse me cars.... maybe something more like "get out of my way, or sheesh, stay in your lane.. but excuse me cars??"

It seems to me that this polite streak is running strong! :)

more ribbons and bows!

( sorry face is washed out, having problems with camera flash.... i REALLY WANT a dig. camera that cost more then $100... :) )

Today I had fun..... we went to Hobby Lobby and bought ribbons!!!! Lots and lots of ribbons! :)

I also bought a cute box to put them in! :)

and of course I had to buy myself some more beads, as they where %50 off!!

ORANGE SALAD

Is it bad that within the last 3 days I personally have digested almost one tub of cottage cheese, one tub of whip cream, one small box of orange jello, a handful of walnuts and one can of Mandarin oranges????

At least it was all mixed together so it tasted rather delicious!

I LOVE orange salad!
