1 month old

It's hard to believe that a month has gone by (actually as of today it's been more like a month and a half, but for this posts sake it's only been a month).  Oliver is as cute as ever and we can't imagine life without him.  He is a strong little boy who loves to hold his own head up and stand on his legs.  Personally I think he already knows that he needs to be strong to keep up with his older brother.  He is sleeping in longer chunks at night which I'm absolutely loving.  And he loves to look at our family collage wall.   I keep promising him that I'll add pictures of him but I don't know if he believes me (it's on my to-do list for this week).  He is keeping us guessing on his eye color which frustrates me because I want them to be blue like me.  Right now they look like they will be green like his daddy.  Anyway, here are a few photos of our sweet Ollie Bug as a 1 month old.

Hanging out in the bouncer

First time he sneezed and something came out with it.  Boy was it big but I shouldn't have been surprised since he'd been brewing it for a month.

So I have more pictures to post but for some reason they are taking forever to upload and I don't have the patience at 12:30 am to wait.  I will try again tomorrow.

The boys......

Spencer is all about drinking from the hose.  He's also all about playing in the water and getting wet.  I can't wait for our local pool to open.

Oliver at 2 weeks old.  Boy does this little guy put up with a lot from his brother.  I think he only relaxes when his brother is sleeping.

Spencer teaching Oliver one of his tricks.

When Casey goes trail running he brings a camelback with him.  So now Spencer likes to put on a backpack and go running down the street like his daddy.  I think it's cute that he thinks anyone who runs is his daddy.  We'll be driving down the street and he'll point to a runner on the side of the road and say "daddy".  Let's just hope that he gets his daddy's running skills later in life.

Another day, a different outfit, but ready to go for a run like his daddy.

Why not chill in your younger brothers crib?  Poor Oliver can't have anything of his own.

Bath time with 2 little boys is fun but yet scary at the same time.

Spencer playing b-ball with his new, favorite backpack.  He wore it for a couple days straight.

It's been so nice here in Utah that we've been painting on the deck.  It's a lot of fun to see what pictures he comes up with.

Oliver hanging out while we paint.  He sleeps through a lot of fun activities.

Happy 2nd Birthday Spencer!

This year Spencer had an Airplane themed birthday party.  The planner that I am had almost everything ready to go before I had Oliver which turned out to be a huge help.  Here are a few photos of the party.

 The invitations

Helping Grandad hang up the clouds

The treat table.  For those who are curious, I put playdough, passports, airplane gliders, bags of peanuts, airline wings, and a sucker in each suitcase party favor.

Pin the propeller on the airplane

Thanks to Casey's mom I was able to pull off the the 2-tiered airplane cake.  She's amazing at decorating cakes and was patient enough to teach me how to decorate this cake at midnight the night before the party.
The airplane board that the kids fought over because everyone wanted to stick their little head in the hole at the same time.  Note to self - have two holes for the heads next year.

It wouldn't be a Robles birthday party without a pinata.

Easter

This is a late entry, but better late than never, right?  This is the 3 of us on Easter Sunday.  Yes, we are color coordinated and yes, the boys have matching ties on that I sewed myself. You can't blame me though there is only so much you can do to accessorize boys.

Oliver

Here is Oliver at 1 week old.  He did well for his first photo shoot.
Enjoy!

Oma

We were lucky enough to have Oma come stay with us for a week after Oliver was born.  We had lots of fun and boy was it was hard to see her go.
