Homenade Ugly Sweaters

Last night we went to a cousins get together hosted by Casey's cousins, Jordan and Jason Gleave. It started off as an ugly sweater party but quickly became just an ordinary dinner get together.
Due to the fact that the Robles' don't do ordinary we visited Savers, warmed up the glue gun, got the scissor, threaded the needle and got to work. 
Here is our end result:

 *Spencer has lights, pine cones and poinsettias.
*Ryanne has lights, poinsettias, holly berries and pine cones.
*Casey's sweater has lights, poinsettias and holly berries with garland on his sleeves.

He is Casey's son

For a while, Spencer would get up and have cereal for breakfast. Now he has become an oatmeal and egg eater for breakfast. He will even ask for it.
The other day Casey got home from school and was caring in the bowl he had eaten oatmeal out of that morning. Spencer saw it and started saying oatmeal and pointing to his mouth like he wanted to eat it. So that night for dinner Spencer had oatmeal and we had something else.

Days 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 of Christmas

We started out so well with the advent calendar and then as the month continued we started to slack with photos and blog posts.  Here's what we've been doing.

Day 8
Made gifts for our neighbors and friends



Our final product - pretzels with chocolate & peppermint, white chocolate & peppermint, peanut butter & chocolate or candy canes with chocolate

Decorate Gingerbread Houses
We had Casey's sister, Melissa, and her family come over for the activity.  I bought kits from a lady in Melissa's ward and even though everything was lined out for us it was still difficult to construct them.



 Teenagers!

 Ours didn't have a lot of decorations because Spencer at all the candy.  And, Casey couldn't get his walls to stick so he made it look like a tornado hit his - so creative!

Days 4, 5, 6, and 7 of Christmas

 Spencer has started to realize what happens when we turn on the camera. He will walk in front of you and keep saying, "Cheee, cheee, cheee," till you take a picture of him and then he runs next to us to see what the picture looks like on the screen. During our snowflake shoot Spencer wanted a picture with him standing in the tree. What a weirdo,  we have no idea where he gets it from.

Visit the Reindeer and buy a Christmas tree

Hang lights and attend church Christmas party
