Europe here we come!

We are so excited and wanted to share our excitement with everyone else. We bought our Europe tickets this past weekend and can't wait to go. Unfortunately, we have a couple months until we leave (June 9 - July 3). We've started planning but are taking suggestions of places we should visit so let us know if you have a favorite place. Here are the countries we plan on visiting as of now: England, France (northern and southern), Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain.

*LIVE* Concert at the Robles'

Ever since I can remember it's been a tradition when my family gets together we put on a concert. Sometimes these concerts are more elaborate than others but the end result is the same - we feel like rockstars! The last time we got together my mom had us dress up as The Village People and then we danced around her living room to their music. This time we played Rock Band to get us pumped and then we pulled out the Rhiana, Cold Play, Lady GaGa Remix that Casey spun together. Boy does he have some sick DJing skills! And, my apologies for not having more photos but I haven't perfected the singing, dancing and photo taking yet.

Who says moms cooking is the best?

I think it's safe to say that everyone out there thinks their mom is the best cook ever. So when she comes to visit it's only natural to want to impress her, right? And, that is exactly what I did this past weekend. My mom enjoyed the dinners I made so much that when she left she asked for one of the recipes. Yipee! (I'm doing a high toe kick for Casey's sister, Aymee, right now)

Susy Homemaker is back!

I've returned to sewing after a 3 year hiatus thanks to Casey's sister, Melissa, for teaching me how to make the below handbag. It's not that I ever stopped enjoying sewing but rather Seattle never left me any time to be domestic! And we know that is no longer the case here in Utah. Now I can't seem to pull myself away from the sewing machine and the many projects I've started. Great things happen while being domestic!
