May 2024

 May 2024

Spring Soccer is always tricky with weather.  Most of the time it's freezing.  This particular game was very cold and blew icy wind.  Even worse, Breanna lost her game 4-1.  Dylan and Lexi came though which was super nice of them.

Lexi was cute and texted me to know the kids' sports schedules so she and Dylan could try to be there.

Dylan went to a training dinner for Nolan and Son and got to sit by Tyler.  He's liking the job so far but comes home filthy every day.  He's getting promoted to Pipe Layer on Monday and will earn an extra $1 an hour - so $22.50!  He's only been working for them for just over two weeks.

Watched Ryland play soccer in Provo.

He did great!

Last soccer game of the season.

Breanna played in her volleyball game and it went to three games but ultimately lost.

Right after her volleyball game she had a soccer game.

It was a beautiful day, but her team lost.

After her game, we rushed home to get ready to leave to go to Judson's for our May FHE.  He wanted to take us to see the wild horses so that's why we met on a Saturday instead of Sunday.
We rode in John's 25 passenger bus!  We drove to Five Mile Pass and shot clay pigeons and then drove an hour and 1/2 more west to see the wild horses.  However we saw zero horses!  It was still fun though being together on the bus!  Janaca's family drove separately in their own van but I can't remember why.

It was soooo windy!  So the bus was a great escape from the wind.

Casey's funny hat sunburn!
Everyone was able to there except for Jordan (Morp) and Carleigh (Work).

I am super blessed to have Casey take charge of Sunday dinners.  This Sunday he recruited the boys!

Our Stake Center is getting a landscape makeover.

Breanna's cute lemonade sign.

Breanna's soccer game got forfeited because the other team didn't show so they played against some parents!  Last game of the season!

Last volleyball game of the season!  It was fun to watch Breanna play!

Got our invite to Nedra's wedding!

Went to lunch with Sarah Brown.  She's moving out of her beautiful home in our neighborhood.  We will miss her family.

For Mother's Day, Casey took me and the kids to the fancy mexican restaurant Sol Agave in American Fork.  It was great mexican food and Casey especially loved it!

After dinner, they took me to Mulligans and played mini golf.

Lexi came also!  The course was beautiful and the evening was perfect.

Casey won, Carleigh came in 2nd and I was 3rd.
After mini golf they took me to see Fall Guy in the movie theater.

The next day, Casey and the kids made me a french toast and bacon breakfast!  At church we listened to Bro. Branton in his Scottish accent and Bro. McEwen.  They both did a great job.  Relief Society was a trea - they had grapes, strawberries, muffins, and chocolates.  Holly Orgill gave a great lesson.

After church, I opened gifts.  I got a new griddle and curlers!  I also got cute cards, orchids, and Reeses candy.  So sweet!

After, I read Pres. Nelson's book and while I was reading, Lexi came and gave me flowers and perfume!
Casey made pot roast, potatoes, and carrots and corn on the cob which was a fun surprise.  It was so good!

So proud of my kids and that I get to be their mom!

Went to visit my mom after and loved being with her.  I gave her a puzzle, a notepad, caramels, and a book.  Dad caught a racoon and Dad had Dylan and Casey help kill it and dispose of it!  Gross!  Dad always seems to get random animals in his yard.

My favorite Paeonia in my yard bloomed!

Breanna got to go to the MTC for a tour with the young men and young women.

Casey and I left to go to Arizona to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and to see Nedra get married.

We left our kids home by themselves for the first time...
I shared pictures of the house of how I wanted it to be kept.  :)

Waiting for our plane to leave!

In line waiting for our rental car.

When we landed, we immediately felt the Arizona heat.  We grabbed some ice cream before we checked into our hotel.

We stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel

We walked around the hotel and saw all the beautiful plants and trees.

We went shopping for the kids  - bought the boys Arizona socks, crystal rock candy, and cotton candy. We bought the the girls cactus necklaces, and cactus suckers.

This was our rental car - a Toyota Corolla Cross

For our anniversary, we went to Medieval Times for dinner.

We each got paper crowns with our Knight's colors so we'd know which team to cheer for.  We were served dinner where we ate with our hands!

The horses were amazing and the entertainment was fun!

Nedra asked me to take photos of her wedding which kind of stressed me out but I did the best I could!  It was at Jeremy and Laree's home and they decorated it beautifully!  Madison did all the flowers.

Off to their honeymoon...

It was a beautiful day!  Glad we got to be there.

While we were gone, Carleigh took Ryland out to lunch!  So sweet.

After the wedding, we went to Caldwell County BBQ.

We met up with Aud, Jeremy and Kevin and their families.

The next day, we walked around the Gilbert Temple.

So beautiful.

Drove by our old house and then had a delicious dinner from Jeremy before heading back to Utah.

On our way home!

Mom and Dad took Breanna out for her birthday lunch to Costa Vida while we were gone.  Breanna said as long as she keeps eating sweet pork salad she'll stay sweet!  Haha!

Sunday, Mom and Dad took Carleigh to her Seminary Graduation.  Casey and I were sad we missed it!

Carleigh, Kinley, and Kaitlyn

Rayli, Carleigh, Zane, and Abbie.

Abbie and Carleigh

 Can't believe she's this old!

Proud of my kids and the way they took care of each other while we were gone.

The cute cacti necklaces Casey and I gave Carleigh and Breanna.

Carleigh and I checked out Breanna from school and took her to lunch on her birthday!

Later, Breanna opened her gifts!

She got shorts, socks, a paint set, a Stanley mug, Mini Verse and candy.

Carleigh gave her a heatless curling set and some makeup.

She's a teenager!

That evening, we took her to Waffle Love and they had the cutest bouquet of flowers on the table.

Firework candle!

Blew out all her candles!
We sure love this girl!

Had a fun end of season pizza party for her volleyball team.

Carleigh had fun at her Senior Lagoon Day!

Went on a tour at Aveda Institute as a potential beauty school Carleigh wants to go to.

The day before Carleigh's graduation we had a party for all the graduates in the neighborhood.

We had a pot luck and hung out and played games in our backyard.

It was fun!

Carleigh graduated May 24, 20204!!!

Before she left to head to UVU, I took some pictures of her in her cap and gown.

She looked so beautiful!

Took some photos with her best friend Abbie.

She carpooled with her friends while Casey, Nedra, me and the little kids met Mom and Dad as well as Dylan and Lexi at the UCCU Building at UVU.

Saw Lexi too!

FOUND HER in all the graduates!!!

Just before names were called, Stacey, Emma, Garrison & Kelsey showed up to see Carleigh!

Getting her diploma!

On the jumbotron.

Headed back to her seat.

Lehi's 2024 Graduating Class

Officially graduated!

Trying to find Carleigh was complete chaos!  Couldn't find her and ended up meeting her in the same spot as Dylan's graduation last year - which I was trying to avoid.  Basically on the street - not ideal.

So very proud of her!

Garrison was there when Carleigh graduated from the Riverton High School preschool!

Laila, Lexi, Dylan

Lauren, Mia, Kinley, and Haylie

Camri and Audrey

We met at Carrabba's Italian Restaurant for dinner after graduation.

She loved the cheesecake for dessert!

When we got home we gave her a card and a mini suitcase full of money!!!
We hope she felt loved and special.  We sure are proud of her and excited to see what plans she has next!

Carleigh's graduation items.

The next day we had Breanna's birthday party!

Breanna and her friends had a good time playing crossnet, eating pizza, making smores, and just hanging out together.

Leea, Halee, Sydney and Daycee
She got a lot of cute gifts:  Perfume and jewelry.  So glad she has some good friends.

Sunday we visited graves for Memorial Day.

We got to see Mom and Dad too!

At the cemetery.

Visited Tyler and Mary and got to meet Colton and Kaili's new baby - Freya.

Memorial Day

We met at Riverton Park and lots of the Fuller Family showed up:  Gage & Kaylie, Aud & Mike, Tyler & Mary, Colton & Kaylie and Kevin's family.  We brought Walter and the kids had fun with him.  Held baby KeKoa.

Played pickleball.

Channing, Oakley and Ryland

Casey and Ryland left for Fathers and Sons.
It was held at Bishop Wilkey's party up Spanish Fork Canyon near Fairview.

They had fun 4-wheeling - and even had Ryland drive!

Loved that they had a great time together!
