june beach trip

WOW - this is a lot of pictures and i kept reminding myself in my head while i was uploading the millions -- do it for the scrapbook, do it for the memories....because i know that if i don't do it now, it will never get "recorded" that is for sure!! and i think i may have taken a thousand pics while we were there in june. we had a blast. my parents came with us so we had some extra hands which is always nice with 3 little kids :) thanks mom and dad!
we usually go to seagrove in the summer, but this time we stayed in seacrest, which is right next to seagrove. we were right on the beach with an amazing view so it was great with kids! we had a blast and the weather was awesome!

julia's first beach trip at 7 months :)
this was the first night we got there. i believe julia was already bed down by this point, but the girls were so excited to get their suits on and check out the ocean.

julia loved the beach. she started crawling a few weeks before we went so she was right up in the action. she loved the little pool i had on the beach and loved splashing the water.

lots of sand castles and moats were built

the small playpen was also a lifesavor!

LOVE this one of my sweet caroline - you can see that cute little dimple that she got from her daddy - this picture so describes her little personality :)

they were ready to head down!

the pictures never do the sun and moon justice - that night there was the most amazing full moon

i believe julia was bed down again at this point after dinner....

bringing momma flowers :)

a beautiful thing to wake up to

she loved the sand and exploring with it and digging her hands in it

the little deck outside our patio was awesome - the girls sat and played strawberry shortcake together in the down times

mimi rode back with us on the way home because granddad had to leave a day early. i think maybe the girls were thanking God for our great trip? praying about something looks like!

the girls were well entertained while indoors, they stayed busy with strawberry shortcake or the felt people - i love their ages - they play so well together, they love the same things. i love watching them interact and pretend. i always tell my mom, i am so glad they have each other :)

we had a free bike with our rental so daddy and the girls took advantage of it one day :) - i couldn't help sing the wizard of oz song to this picture...haha!

julia and granddad had some q.t. - he was the one that usually got julia up from her naps and stayed indoors during her naptimes - which of course was a huge help :)

what fun memories :) thank you Jesus for your blessings!
