Stop the Cavalry!

Ok, here we go with my final card tonight, card number 3!

This one I've made for one of my colleagues at work and it's a bit of a mickey take card! Well, it helps us to get through the day anyway and we are never that nasty, lol! So the background to this card is Eddie (aka Jason!) is a little bit of a Christmas grinch and is really not a fan of the song 'Stop the Cavalry' by Jona Lewie. So when we're feeling a little mischievous we hum this song aloud as it's one of those songs that sticks in your head! Anyway, Eddie is also learning to play the piano so when Magnolia released these stamps I knew exactly the card I was going to make him!

Close up of Edwin and his Piano, asking how "Stop the Cavalry" goes, lol! I've coloured the stamped images with my copic ciao markers...

I hope he likes it, I'm sure it'll put a smile on his face, lol!
The polka dot paper is Choco Dot by Doodlebug, the music sheet paper is Life's Journey Music by K and Co and the star paper is by Bo Bunny, A Gift of Love, all matted onto Core d'inations Chocolate Mocha card. The Happy Birthday sentiment on the front of the card is by Craftwork cards and inside is by Hero Arts. I've used my nesties and MS Star border punch.
As you can see, I've used the same sketch as my previous card and I will also be entering this one in Sketch Saturday's Challenge Blog, Week #95. Told you I loved this weeks challenge sketch, lol!
That's it from me, I'm off to see who's getting voted out of Dancing on Ice!
See you all again soon,
Lots of love

Cute Birthday!

Hi All,
I hope you're all good and have enjoyed the last couple of weeks? I've been really busy with netball and I'm umpiring my first game tonight so a little nervous at the moment! What better way to take my mind of things than to post my latest creation!
I've made this card for one of the girls in my netball team. I'm really pleased with it, don't you think Maggie is just the cutest!

'Twit' Twoo, Sorry I Forgot!

Hi All,
Hope you're good? I've had a fab day today, netball this morning (scored some amazing distance goals too, wahoo!) and then crafting this afternoon, lovely! The perfect Sunday for me :o) All that was missing was Daemo as he's been away racing this weekend but is on his way home now, yay!
I have 3 cards to post tonight so grab a cuppa and settle down!
The first card I made for a very special friend of mine who's really into Owls at the moment. I was a very bad friend and forgot her birthday (so Sorry Cas!) so made a belated card for her. What do you think?

Karting Dream Birthday!

Ok, onto card number 2! This one I made for my Nephew who's a really keen Karter. As it's a 8 x 8 inch card I wasn't sure the karting stamped image alone would fill it, and then I came up with the 'dream' idea, Edwin sitting dreaming about the next race! I think it worked out well and Henry (my Nephew) loved it!

I coloured the stamped images with my copic ciao markers, the Edwin stamp is by Magnolia, the Karting stamp is by Dimension and the chequered flags are by Stamp Addicts. The backing paper is by Pebbles Inc matted onto Core d'inations card, the ribbon is from my stash, the sentiment and legless brads are by Carftwork cards and I used my oval nesties and Martha Stewart Stars border punch. The sentiment on the inside of the card is by Hero Arts.

Farmville Birthday!

Evening all,
I know it's been too long again, so sorry bloggers. Life has been a little hectic to say the least over the past week or so, but I managed to take some piccies of my cards, even if I haven't had time to show you them yet! I have a few cards to post tonight so put the kettle on, lol!
Here's the first one, a Farmville card I made for my Sister-In-Law. Farmville is a game on facebook where you create and grow your own farm, looking after animals and growing and harvesting crops. We're all addicted to it at the moment, especially Lucy (my Sister-In-Law) so I thought she'd love this card!

The stamps are Papermania Honey and Hugs stamped onto gingham paper. The trees I made using nesties scalloped ovals, the little chick and barn are by DeNami Design and the card itself is made using a Sissix die.
Lucy loved the card, yay! :o)
