Look what I got on Friday night!!!

Shawn totally proposed. It was so unreal that when the words came out of his mouth I was thinking "What did he just say?" But, I couldn't say "WHAT?!?", so I just stared at him trying to figure out if I was imagining it or if he had really just said what I thought I heard. A good 15 to 20 seconds went by, and he had a panicked look on his face like I just might say no because I definitely hadn't said "yes" yet... I quickly shook my head yes, and started crying. I never thought I would cry! I was just so overwhelmed I guess.

I feel so honored because Shawn had the ring made from the diamond in his grandmother's ring. He told me that and my ring went from beautiful to out of this world. So sentimental, and I love it.

We don't have a date yet or any other details ironed out, but I'm sure things will start to fall together soon. I'll keep everyone posted. For now, here are some more photos.

Ugh

I know, I know. It's been forever since I last blogged! I've been in such a "blog funk". Nothing to blog about, don't have the time, just an overall "ugh" feeling. So here is my blog about nothing. Nothing very worthwhile to talk about, no pictures to share, nothing. Can you understand my funk?

Anyway, it's still super cold here and I still don't like it. I got my February issue of InStyle magazine the other day, and it had all of these spring ads in it. I lived vicariously through that magazine for a couple of days, and it was so luxurious. Then I had to go outside and face the frozen world around me.

Well, I'm still alive and still here - just wanted to let everyone know that. Hopefully I'll be out of my funk in the next couple of days. Please accept my apologies...
