Clocky to the rescue???

This is Clocky. My mom and dad bought him for me for Christmas. For those of you who know me well, getting out of bed each morning is a struggle. It is not uncommon for me to snooze for almost an hour trying to get in all the sleep I can.

Cue Clocky... Clocky will alarm at the designated alarm time like an ordinary alarm clock. You can hit snooze once, but after one snooze, Clocky will jump off your night stand and take off running and beeping all the way. He will wheel away looking for a place to hide until you have to psychically get out of bed to chase him down and shut him up. Did I mention that his "beeping" sounds like R2D2 on steroids? Wow. Clocky was cracking me up during the trial run, but who knows if I would find him quite as amusing at 6:30 am...

So, today I tried Clocky out for the first time. Dang, he definitely got me out of bed! So, he works! (Granted it was already 10:00). I'll give him a real try tomorrow morning. Anyway, thanks mom and dad!

Christmas

This year Shawn and I spent Christmas Eve at his sister's house. All of Shawn's family was there. We all ate and opened some presents, and hung out into the night. It was a good time.

Christmas Day I slept in and spent the morning being lazy and playing with the presents I got. Then Shawn and I went over to my sister Julie's house where we hung out there for the majority of the day. Then we ate dinner and went to a movie. It was a great couple of days relaxing and spending with family. I sure love this time of year.

Sledding at Mt Spokane!

The weekend before Christmas we decided to go sledding up at Mt Spokane. Shawn and I took Ellie and her BFF Caroline.

They have this hill up there with a really cool tow rope. You slide down the hill and then they just hook you to the rope and tow you back up to the top of the hill! No walking up to the top of the hill! That's my type of sledding experience! It was pretty cold and snowed a lot, but we came prepared with hot apple cider. It was a lot of fun!
