Hot but Fine
It's has been a long time since I updated my blog. Today I'm doing blogging because something interesting happened today. Today, somebody actually walked to me and tell me to eat the cake he buy. Wow, unusal. In the past, he would just tell others and leave but today he actually tell me personally to go and eat. What a weird sign.
So becoz of this, I'm blogging.

May to Aug 07
Rainy, Sunny, Fine
The weather is unpredictable today. Raining in the early morning. Now weather is fine, not too hot. Okay, it had been about 6 months that I had not been doing detailed blogging. Reason being, I'm not unable to login to my blog. Finally, I'm able to login to my blog today after some troubles.
May 2007
May 07 was a busy month for me in both work & personal life. In the first week of May, I was left without a computer @ work for 3 days because I need to swop my desktop for a laptop. So the first week of May went by very busy and fast. Then that Saturday, Darren & I went to Hong Kong for a 4 day 3 night trip. After coming back from holiday, had 3 days to clear my work before I went for a 4 day course on the following week. Well, after on course for 4 days, I went back to work on Friday only to suffer from food poisoning and had to take MC. Then it's 3 days of training again before the month end comes. At the same time, I also had to study for a short exam for the 4 days course. This means I had to clear everthing before month ends as the exam was on the last day of the month and not to forget, I still need to attend Korean Lessons but Korean Lessons ended and will only resume in Oct/Nov.
June 2007
Not too much memories coz it's a much more slower month as I'm in the office most of the days, not as tedious as May o7. In personal life, I was busy with my ROM ceremony to be held in July 07.
July 2007
The most memorable month as my ROM Ceremony was held on 08.07.07. I was married to my dearest hubby, Mr Darren after we were together for 7 yrs. Have a small ROM lunch with our families & friends at YUM CHA. July is also my birthday month and guess what I did for my birthday.... I went home and slept early that night coz the previous night, I watched TV till 2am.
In July, I also met up with my poly friends for dinner @ Ding Tai Feng. That's all about July bah.
August 2007
August was a long month, a 5 weeks month. It's still a very busy month.
Well, that's about all for this time. I think this entry is already long enough. I promise I will write more often in the coming month as I believe there are more things that I can share here.

May 2007

The past 3 months.....

The weather is unpredictable today. Raining in the early morning. Now weather is fine, not too hot. Okay, it had been about 3 months that I had not been doing detailed blogging. Even the last entry was a really short one. So here's a detailed entry for what had happened in the past 3 months.
January 2007
(a) Star Virgo
I had a 3 days leave whereby I went for a crusie to Penang and Phuket on the Star Virgo. First time to go on the Star Crusise and really the Star Crusie was huge. There were many people during boarding, however when we are on the ship, it seems like there were not so many people. The ship left World Trade Center at about 2.45pm ++ or so, cannot really remember. So upon boarding, we went to our room then we went to have lunch. Life on the ship was eating, sleeping, enjoying..... We went off -board at both Penang and Phuket. We went to visit a fruit farm and 2 temples in Penang where lastly we went to a local shop to buy some local products. At Phuket, we went to a few local shops and had lunch at a local Thai restaurant. Then we went to the largest Shopping mall at Phuket which is the Grand Festival. It was a fun and interesting trip. An experiencing trip also.
(b) S.H.E Singapore Concert
I went to the S.H.E concert with my brother at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 27 Jan 2007. The whole indoor stadium was full of people. Most of the people were standing up 80% of the time. I think all the people were very high. The concert was a nice one. However, after the concert, we took a long ride home. We took about 1.5 hours before we could get home. Cause there was a jam at Singapore Indoor Stadium. At National Stadium, a football match was going on and due to the rain, the match was postponed for about 0.5 hours or more which leads to both events completing about the same time. So there was a massive jam. As a result, I was home very very late.
February 2007
Feb 07 is the shortest month of the year. As usual, I went Genting with my family during Chinese New Year. Other than that, most of the time I am working hard in the office. Of course, during Chinese New Year, I had a lot to eat. Treat from boss and boss's boss. So getting fatter and fatter. Work load also getting heavier but Sherry is handling well and will only gets better.
March 07 is quite a long month and the nearest month that I can remember what happened. So let me start now. My colleagues and I went for a BBQ session and IW's house. We had a fun time though it was raining. I had a day of leave on 07 Mar as my half of my sales team were in Batam for meeting. So I told my colleagues that it's the best time I can take a rest. On 06 Mar, I wrote some e-mails to my salesmen who were overseas and when they were able to connect to the Internet, they replyed to my e-mail. Then I replied also and at 5.30pm, my office phone rang and I just picked it up (even though, we are not supposed to pick up phone after office hour). Oh, it was my Salesman, upon hearing my voice, he asked me how come I know it's him. I tell him cos he is returning my mail and he definitely is the one calling. Guts feeling, I guess. Hahah... Sherr;y's salesmen have the habit of calling Sherry after working hours and usually I will pick up the calls no matter how late it is. That's Sherry, I guess.
Actually a lot of things happenend in March, both personal and work. My salesmen had been treating me well, extremely well that I'm very sure that they had changed over the period of time. It had been 9 months since I'm working in this company. As the sayings goes, "Starting is the most difficult of all". I'm sure over these 9 months, my salesmen & I had learnt to respect each others in terms of humans, colleagues and friends.......... One of my salesman is also my lucky star........ I believed we do have a better working relationship now. In work, my boss respect me and gives me a lot of space for me uncover my potenial in work.
For personal life, the past 2 months had been a busy one. There are a lot of family gatherings for dinner, lunch etc...... Life would be busy soon for me. I will write later else this entry would really be very long. I went to the PC show with my family on a Friday nite. The whole place was so crowded. I managed to get a cheap thumb drive. I went to watch "The Phantom of Opera" with my korean class friends. The show, stage, props and everything was magnificient and fantatisic. This opera is one that I wanted to watch many years ago. The show was last staged in SG some 10 yrs ago. Now they came, of course I would not miss it. It was really a nice show. Coming May, I'm flying to Hong Kong to watch Fish Leong's concert. This is the 3rd love parade concert I'm going to watch. Come to think, it's only about 1 month away. So exciting..........

January 2007
(a) Star Virgo

"MIA" again

It's a veri fine day today. Wow, I'm on leave today so I'm blogging. Well, I have been "MIA" becozz I have been veri busy wif work and life. I went for a cruise in Janaury with my family and I went Genting with my family in February.
Life is busy but enjoyable. Many things had happened but too much to write down now.
Should end liao, I have to go learn my korean language.

01 Jan 07, First Day of 2007

Today is the lst day of Year 2007. Happy New Year.
Now let me reflect on what I have done for Year 2006.
(1) In Janauary, I went to collect my degree cert and I bided farwell to may favourite boss in MPM. He went China and to think that it's had been almost 1 year already. As usual, I also went Genting with my family during the Chinese New Year.
(2) I went watching "Dreams of the Tang Dynasty" alone at Esplanade on "Hua Yi Jie" opening night. Well, that was a good show. Luckily, I went to watch it.
(3) In March, I made a major decision, I'm leaving MPM. The resignation letter was accepted .
(4) In April, I had my graduation ceremony at SIM. Also it was my last 2 weeks in MPM. 2 days after my last day in MPM, I went for a tour to Korea. Going to Korea had always been my dreams. After the tour, I waited and atteneded a numerous of interviews.
(5) The whole of May, I was at home or attending interviews. Of course, I went out with my family and freinds too.
(6) By 2nd week of June, I have found a new job. My elder sister also give birth to a baby girl.
(7) Normal July but went for Zpop concert to watch Fish Leong. Also went for kimchi making class. Starting to work OT also.
(8) National Day Parade at Singapore National Stadium. I got the tickets. Changed to another CC for Korean class.
(9) Still working hard, nothing much actually in September. It's all about work.
(10) Had a 2 day leave after working for 4 months. But it was followed by numerous work after the break. I went Shinhwa's concert.
(11) Went on course in November. Went star-chasing to see Fish Leong at Expo, first time to be an usher. Also 1st time MC in 5 months of work.
(12) December, a veri busy month due to the holidays. I also fall sick for about 1 whole week. So time seems to be not enough for use.
Frankly speaking, a lot of things, good and bad, happy and sad happened in 2006 and they had all became part of my memories. Now let's review and see whether my hopes for 2005 was achieved.
Hope for 2006 (Written on 31/12/2006)
(1) Find a new job. [ACHIEVED]
(2) Learn new things, life-long learning award..... [ACHIEVED, but learning is never enough]
(3) Go Korea, one of my wishes. [ACHIEVED]
(4) Planning to go learn Japanese. [Postponed to 2008, tentatively]
(5) Continue to learn my korean. [ACHIEVED, still learning]
(6) Learn to make the candles, equipments & materials already available. [ACHIEVED, partially]
(7) Save $$$$$$$$$. [ACHIEVED but saving $$$ is never enough]
(8) Have more time with my family, boyfriend and friends. [ACHIEVED but never enough]
Wow, not a bad year, I actually fulfill quite a lot of them. Okay so what's in for Year 2007.
(1) Go travelling to different countries to broaden my perspectives of life.
(2) Learn new things, life-long learning award.....
(4) Planning to go learn Japanese. [Postponed to 2008, tentatively]
(5) Continue to learn my korean.
(6) Learn to make the candles, equipments & materials already available.
(7) Save $$$$$$$$$.
(8) Have more time with my family, boyfriend and friends.
(9) Have a new image
Okay, enough of it. 2006 came and went off quickly. This year, I made major decisions in switching to another job and i do not have any regrets. U wait and U will get good things in return. For me, it is. Also i found a good friend in work which is IW. Many things happpened and like I said they had all become memories and lessons learnt. I promise I will do better in 2007.

Frankly to be speaking, I have not been blogging for the past 2 months. Reason being I'm very very busy with work. Just a quick recall on the past 2 months, I'm busy with work, korean lessons that I do not have time to go shopping and rest. But I'm very happy with my life now.

世界不是那么完美
Heard the above from TL (my salesman) many times already but I don't really agree of what he say. I even told him that "只要是你的东西都不完美". Ha....Ha....Ha.... This week, finally understand the phase "世界不是那么完美". Nobody is perfect in this world, no matter how well you do, there are bound to be faults. But if you admit and apologize for the fault done, the person will definitely forgive you. They won't scold you if they have high EQ. If they scold you, it means they have low EQ, so don't be bothered with them.
TL is my "idol" now liao cos he is smart and he had high EQ, at least he won't scold me but he will just nag and nag at me lor. IW said he is my best friend but my another best friend is my enemy leh. Hahahahahaha, just joking, both are my good colleagues. Heeeee.Heeee....Heee.....

A veri busy day!!!!
Hazy
This is my duty week, so cannot take transport home. This week, there seems to be many orders. I think from the start of last week (09 Oct), there were a lot of orders maybe becoz of the holidays from 20 Oct to 24 Oct. I don't have to work on 23 Oct coz cmpy declare holiday. There are so many things to do almost everyday. Have to stay back then can finish the work. On Tuesday, I stayed till 7+ then finally cleared all my work. On Wed @ 0924, I delcare to IW that all my work are done. Then came alone some bad news, I did some order wrongly over the week and caused some commotion but luckily TL helped me out so the problem was solved. Because of my error, caused him to be scolded by customer, so pai seh but he has high EQ like what IW say, so he did not scold me lar.
I complained to IW that last friday, i was busy with Shxxx orders for the whole day, arranging and rearranging over and over again. On Monday and Tuesday, I was busy with Exxxxxxxxx orders due to the long holidays and on Wed, I was busy with Schxxxxx xxxxxx order. Then at about 4.40 pm, an urgent order came in which I was unable to do. Then still got marine order, could only go off after I finished the order. Then called TL at about 5.30pm where he said " U still around ah?" Then I told him I need to inform him of same issues, so no choice. IW was waiting for me to send her to SGH to meet her boyfriend, so I just stack everything together regardless of completed or incompleted and left the office with her at 6.00pm. Ha...Ha...Ha...
This morning, saw a lot of mails in my inbox so have to go through them 1 by 1. Then TL caleed and ask me why did I make him like a bad guy? ?? in my mind as I did not even reply a singlle mail yet. Oh, it's a misunderstanding. For the whole morning, I was busy with an urgent order. Finally after numerous calls and Q&As, the order can be processed. It was about 12pm when i printed the order out.
Then during lunch, I told IW that we should only return to work after our 1st call rings but 10 mins passed 1, still no calls, so we just went back to work. Ha..Ha..Ha.. The next moment, I received a call from TL about self-collection and he will be in our office by 2 minutes time. Another urgent order came. But seriously, I never done any self-collection before so I not sure of the process, only IW does know abt the process. It took me about 30 to 40 minutes to complete the order coz need to wait for account to set-up, pricing and arrange for self-collection at logistics side.
I was told to attend a seminar tomorrow at Shangari-la hotel, which means I have to complete everything on hand today. But there still so many pending issues. Then another person called for urgent collection and delivery. Just 1 day, I got 3 urgent orders. Oh, my god. Then after 4.45pm, everything almost settled. Then I told IW that I spoke to almost all my salesman today except 2. Seems that my side having more business this 2 weeks but next week is a short week, so both of us are prepared for a busy week.
Hooray, no work tomorrow, just need to attend seminar but it's just like work coz it 9 to 5.

Then at about 4.40 pm, an urgent order came in which I was unable to do. Then still got marine order, could only go off after I finished the order. Then called TL at about 5.30pm where he said " U still around ah?" Then I told him I need to inform him of same issues, so no choice. IW was waiting for me to send her to SGH to meet her boyfriend, so I just stack everything together regardless of completed or incompleted and left the office with her at 6.00pm. Ha...Ha...Ha...
This morning, saw a lot of mails in my inbox so have to go through them 1 by 1. Then TL caleed and ask me why did I make him like a bad guy? ?? in my mind as I did not even reply a singlle mail yet. Oh, it's a misunderstanding. For the whole morning, I was busy with an urgent order. Finally after numerous calls and Q&As, the order can be processed. It was about 12pm when i printed the order out.
Then during lunch, I told IW that we should only return to work after our 1st call rings but 10 mins passed 1, still no calls, so we just went back to work. Ha..Ha..Ha.. The next moment, I received a call from TL about self-collection and he will be in our office by 2 minutes time. Another urgent order came. But seriously, I never done any self-collection before so I not sure of the process, only IW does know abt the process. It took me about 30 to 40 minutes to complete the order coz need to wait for account to set-up, pricing and arrange for self-collection at logistics side.
I was told to attend a seminar tomorrow at Shangari-la hotel, which means I have to complete everything on hand today. But there still so many pending issues. Then another person called for urgent collection and delivery. Just 1 day, I got 3 urgent orders. Oh, my god. Then after 4.45pm, everything almost settled. Then I told IW that I spoke to almost all my salesman today except 2. Seems that my side having more business this 2 weeks but next week is a short week, so both of us are prepared for a busy week.
Hooray, no work tomorrow, just need to attend seminar but it's just like work coz it 9 to 5.

After a 2 day rest.......

It's my first day back in the office after a 2 days rest. Just today alone, I did about 20 orders, cleared what IW had helped me to do over the 2 days. IW did everything quite nicely, so don't have much to check and adjust. About 70% cleared at the end of the day, so I went home at about 6.oopm coz there were too much to do. So decided to go off early with IW. Sent IW to Outram MRT to meet her boyfriend, then I went to Tiong Bahru Plaza to have my dinner as I was having korean lesson tonite. I'm very sleepy.... almost fall asleep in class.
