Easter Thank-you cards for The Girls

This is the thank-you card I made for Jenny Mary and Sharon for the lovely easter gifts they made me.....I used the For all you do SU set and the colours are Pink Pirhouette and Riding Hood Red I love those together also a touch of Certainly Celery for the stem and the little tiny flower......

New SU colours

Hi Everyone,

I was really upset when SU announced they were getting rid of 29 !! colours.....just when I had got all my collection of everything together and was looking forward to everything blending LOL....

Anyhow I decided to bite the bullet and changed all my pads around, I will atke a picture to show the before and after, my marker storage looks a bit sad so hopefully SU will allow people to just buy the new markers pads etc etc....

I do like the new collections though and have been making some cards with the colours I have.....

EBAY here I come with all the card, inkpads and markers I will try and sell them as a set I think....

My friends 50th birthday

Hi Everyone,
I have needed to make a few of these

as several people I know this year are 50 !! I have been trying to make cake cards but so far not much luck. I will keep trying and my friends 50th birthdays are intermittant right up to 14th December so you never know !!

This card uses the swiss dot folder some gorgeous embossed flowers with crystal brads and some polka dot ribbon.Its Carols birthday tomorrow, she went to New York last week to celebrate and sadly she is stuck there for goodness knows how long due to the volcanic ash !! Hope she gets home soon.

Easter Treats

My good friend Sharon made me this jar filled with treats for easter....she made all the flowers 3 on the top and 5 on the jar....WOW all that flower squishing Sharon...dont know that my hands and fingers could have done that but the effect is beautiful.There are lots of tutorials on the net for making these flowers also on Youtube too !!!

More vintage vogue cards

OOPS the top card isnt vintage vogue....dont know how that snook in there LOL.......not sure I like the colour.Whilst I had the stamps and card out I decided to make a few, just changed the words.They are from Sincere Salutations and Heard from the heart stamp sets...gotta love SU.

I want to try the same cards but using each of the colour families and maybe some different shapes for the shadow.....hmmmmm some of the new nestabilities frames would lend themselves well to making shadows......

Vintage Vogue Asstd cards

I love this set, now available in the UK Stampin UP catalogue...I couldnt wait for mine so borrowed the set from Jenny....cant wait to see what she comes up with for this set.

I have seen so many beautiful cards on blogs and SCS I loved the idea that I saw on Jo's blog so went to play....

Look what the Easter Bunny brought us !!!!!

We decided not to have any eggs this year so instead we asked the easter bunny for a new swing seat for the garden. We built it this morning and the sun came out this afternoon so we were able to sit and have a cuppa out in the sunshine....lovely !!
