It's Scraptastic!

Hip hip hooray, it's my first Scraptastic post day! As soon as I received the Heart it Races kit, I had to pour over every bit and piece and I picked this pretty kitty accent and yummy 'Harvest' card to create my first two cards with.

I love kitty cats! I have three that roam our home so it's no surprise I was drawn to this accent!

I also zeroed in on the 'Harvest' card that reminds me of the things I love about fall...visiting the pumpkin patch and eating fresh roasted corn on the cob at the county fair. And pumpkin pie! Gotta have pumpkin pie!

One of my favorite accents in the kit is these teeny tiny cork and wood stars! I could use those again and again and again! :)

These cards are just the beginning of my Heart it races projects....stay tuned! :)

Keep Calm and Spook On

Eek! I had a spook-tacular good time creating these fall themed cards for this week's What's New Wednesday on the Bella Blvd. blog. These colors are fang-tasic, don't you think? And that ghost with a bow tie...boo-tiful! ;) All these goodies are from the Halloween Magic collection.

Soon after we gobble up all our Halloween candy, it’ll be time for turkey and pumpkin pie! Ahhh…autumn! This Thanksgiving card was created with Bella Blvd’s splendid new fall collection, Hello Autumn

I love these wood grain prints and rich fall colors…and the adorable little turkey from the Daily Details sheet!

Grateful Heart

The other day I was in the mood to make a shabby feminine card so I gathered some pretty papers from my scrap bin, a little doily, jute, paper flowers and the Give Thanks stamps from Reverse Confetti to come up with this design.

This card reminds me of one of my favorite paper crafters, Melissa Phillips. She's the queen of shabby goodness, don't you think?

Included on the card is one of my go-to Confetti Cuts....Circles 'n Scallops. I love this set! :)

World Card Making Day

I'm happy to live in a world where we celebrate the little things like card making! I love creating these little works of art and sharing them with you! And today at Bella Blvd. we're celebrating World Cardmaking Day with card creations posted all day long!

Since this is the first week of fall, I thought I'd use Bella Blvd's new Hello Autumn collection for my card. Rich colors, leaves and burlap are some of my fall favorites that I combined to create this design. Looking at this card makes me want to go apple picking, corn maze wondering or to the pumpkin patch...all of which are currently happening here in North Carolina. Ahh....fall!

My Stars

I believe I've mentioned recently that I love stars and have been drawn to adding them to many projects lately no matter what the theme. I think Jennifer del Muro of Reverse Confetti knew this when she came up with the So Many Stars stamp set! ;)

Stars are so versatile they can be used for any occasion. I've been using them on many of my Halloween themed crafts lately and I know they'll be a go-to shape for Christmas! For this card share I used stars to create a sports themed card. What would you do with all these fun star?

Make a Wish

I miss summer already! Do you? It's been cloudy and wet here in North Carolina for four days now and it's making me miss summer! So I thought I'd set aside the autumn, Halloween and Christmas crafts for a bit and play with Chickaniddy's Twirly Girl collection.

I love all these colorful floral prints! They make me think of spring...my favorite season. :) Don't get me wrong, I love fall too, just not so many cloudy days in a row. :)

Notice the little paper bow on the mini clothespin? That my dears is a darling little accent included in Reverse Confetti's Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts. Too cute, right? It's all in the details!

Halloweenie

Hello! I didn't mean to drop off the face of Blogger for the past three days, but sometimes that sort of thing happens when you get caught up in spending the weekend with family.

Today I'd like to share the card I made last week for StampNation created with Reverse Confetti's Cast a Spell stamps and Confetti Cuts. In case you didn't have a chance to visit StampNation, here's the card in its entirety.

Cast a Spell is such a spook-tacular Halloween set, don't you think? I just love it! I also added another of my favorite Confetti Cuts, Circles 'n Scallops.

With October just days away, I'll be doing a lot of Halloween crafting, how about you?
