Capell's Visit

Ben's Mom, Dad, and sister Sydney came to visit for a few days. It was fun to show them all around. Josh loved waking up every morning to find they were still here. We had amazing weather while they were here, and since they left it hasn't stopped pouring. The lake by our house is even spilling over onto the sidewalk. We will miss you guys!

Syd and Grandpa enjoying the Lincoln Memorial.

We couldn't get Josh to cooperate. But here we are at the top of the Lincoln Memorial. You can see the Washington Monument in the background. (I chopped my hair and this isn't really a good picture of it...but I am loving it--thanks Jenny!)

Mount Vernon (George Washington's Estate) Such a beautiful place!

Utah Trip

Josh and I flew to Utah for a visit, and so I could be at my little sister's wedding shower. It was really fun to see everyone and for Josh to get reaquainted. I can't believe my little sister is getting married!! I need to do a separate post on how amazing she is and how proud I am of her.
This is just a funny picture of Josh.

Travis and Josh...
and I had to post this one of Travis and Cameron. My boys sure love their Uncle "Babbis".

Josh feeding the horses over Grandma Rainey's fence. Bodie and Josh would have done this all day--little cowboys.

Frying Pan Farm and The National Zoo

See how many fun things there are to do here. You should all come visit us.
Josh just loves animals so we've already been to the farm and the zoo a few times. He has no fear. I am always grabbing him so the goats or chickens don't bite his fingers.
Funny story: Today at the park he found a bug (beetle type) and was trying to grab it. I was afraid he was going to squish it in his hand. I must have made him nervous because after that every time he would walk near it he would come and crawl up me and lay his head on my shoulder. (That is his safe position.) He has no fear of big loud scary animals, but is a little afraid of tiny beetles.

Cherry Blossoms

We went downtown to see the cherry blossoms. They are amazing.
