Sprinkler
Josh loves being naked. Last night I took him out of the bath and he escaped, running naked through the house. He thinks he is pretty cool when he gets away from me. He starts panting, doing fast feet, and raising his arms to the sky. Funny funny guy. Anyway so I "let" him run around for a minute naked, and then right as I am saying, "Don't pee." He does. Just a little bit and Ben decides to run him to the toilet to finish. Surprisingly he doesn't finish in the toilet. Ben puts him down and Josh takes off down the hall giggling at his nakedness. I hear Ben call, "Oh no. He is peeing again." I come to mop it up, and Josh is once again off. Then he stops in the hall, pees a tiny bit more. We both chase after him and he takes off. Then he stops pees a little bit more and runs away. By the time we caught him and got a diaper on him there were little puddles all down the hallway.
I know you would think that 2 grown adults could catch and diaper a one year old, but until you see Josh in action don't judge too harshly. He might just be the number one wiggleyworm.
Oh yeah...another funny thing, once we get a diaper on him and he runs away again halfway naked he tries to pull his diaper off. If it isn't on good enough he can actually get it off. The kid just loves to be naked!

Good News
So I NEEDED to tell everyone some exciting news. My little brother Travis received his mission call. He is so cute and excited. He will be serving in the Prague, Czech Republic and Slovakia mission. CRAZY!! First of all he is the baby so it is crazy he is going on a mission and will be gone for two years. Second, Prague. How awesome is that. I did study abroad in college and lived in Austria for four months. I was able to see some of Europe. Prague was one of my favorite cities. It is a beautiful storybook city with cobblestone streets and statue lined bridges. We are so proud of you Travis.

Stretching the Birthday...
We have had a fun birthday weekend with Josh. I didn't plan to stretch it out quite so long, but our power was out on Sunday for 5 hours. I couldn't make his birthday cake. So I made it today, and even though he was tired and sick he still had fun smashing it all over and throwing it on the ground. (I think he took a bite....and then spit it out.) Josh got some great presents from Grandma's and Grandpa's but the favorite toy are the ballons that I blew up and decorated with. Yesterday he tried to eat all the crepe paper that I tied around them making his mouth and teeth blue. He also used them as punching bags. And then he held onto the balloon and ran right into the sliding glass door--yup and bounced right off. Wish I had that on video! And then today he would bite on the tie of the balloon and then walk around swatting it with his hands. I know not the safest toy, but when this kid gets something in his head it is next to impossible to change his mind. You can kind of tell what I am talking about in this video.
Grandma Rainey he loves the race cars, but the video was too long to post. I'll take another and post it soon. Happy Birthday Joshie Josh. We are so grateful for you and your funny sense of humor. We love you!
