Happy Birthday Hayden!!

Yesterday was Hayden's 1st birthday. I can't believe it has been a year since he was born. So much has happened in his first year of life. So many tears and worries. Thank you to everyone who has put up with my worrying. I am glad we have made it this far and he is absolutely perfect. He has been such a blessing to our family.

I went to check on Hayden and he was sitting in this basket. He climbed over the end of Reagan's bed into the basket himself. I couldn't believe it.

Elisabeth's haircut

I decided to cut Elisabeth's hair this morning. She hasn't had a hair cut since November 1 of last year. I have never cut her hair before. I don't think.. It kind of looks uneven. I'll have to fix it.

This morning I was busy doing something and I asked Chris where Hayden was and he looked in the laundry room and told me to go get the camera. This is what I found. Someone (not me) left the dryer open and Hayden crawled right in. Too cute.

Here is a picture of me with Santa when I was about 2 1/2. I don't think I was very happy. The Santa at the mall yesterday looked so real. The one is this picture looks not so real.

Visit with Santa

Yesterday I met my friend Jennifer, whom I have been friends with for over 20 years, at the Willow Bend Mall. We played in the play area and the kids got to see Santa. None of the kids were scared.

Professional pictures done

This past weekend we went to the Dallas Arboretum(probably misspelled)to have pictures done with Chris' parents and brother. These are just a few that I took with my camera until the batteries died. Something is always dead. My home phones, cell phone or my digital camera.

Hayden likes to climb on everything. He loves climbing up the ladder on the girls' bunk beds. In this picture he actually pushed their pink chair over to the bed and then climbed on it. He reaches over the end of the bed and pulls out all the books he can reach.

More Halloween Pics

The kids had fun on Halloween. We went trunk or treating at the church and went trick or treating in our neighborhood. The girls were witches and Hayden was the cutest pumpkin ever. I ended up getting a stomach virus Halloween night and was sick all day yesterday. Feeling much better now. Hope everyone had a fun Halloween.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch with our friends. We got to feed the animals, pick out pumpkins and go on a hayride. It was very cold but we had fun. My camera batteries died while we were there so I only got a few pictures. Laura is going to e-mail me some she took.

My new nephew!!

My new nephew is here. His name is Austin. He is sooo cute. He weighed 8 lbs 12 oz.

Where's Hayden??

Here he is. He likes to hide in Chris' computer desk cabinet. He tries to reach up and press the keys on the keyboard.

Who has been in Mommy's makeup???

Reagan likes to get into my makeup. She got my eye-liner and put it on her lips. Silly girl. If I don't know where she is at, she is doing something she isn't supposed to.

Hayden the tornado

Everywhere Hayden goes, he creates a huge mess. This is his favorite thing to. Get into the tupperware cabinet. I don't have a gate big enough to block the kitchen off so I have had to lay down 2 of my dining room chairs to keep him out now. He has so much fun taking everything out but I hate having to clean it up every time. Daddy should be installing a lock on the cabinet hopefully soon. Can't wait.

Silly Girls

We have been going to my mom's house on Friday nights. Last Friday Elisabeth and Reagan got on this decorative plant holder thing and were pretending they were riding it. It was funny.

Animal House

Last week Reagan, Hayden & I & my friend Maribel and her 2 kids went to "The Animal House". It is a fun place where the kids can play in several bounce houses and there is an area for little onew like Hayden. They had such a fun time. Got some cute pics of the kids.

Pre-school picture

We just got back Elisabeth's pre-school pictures today. I was kind of worried how they would turn out. I think they turned out pretty good.

Picture People

Last month, Laura and I took Spencer and Hayden to get their pictures done at Picture People. Hayden did really well and his picture turned out so cute.

State Fair of Texas!!

We went to the State Fair over the weekend with Grandma & Grandpa Purcell. We had lots of fun and ate lots of fried food. Chris tried fried alligator. He even thought I wanted to try some. hahaha. right. I tried a fried pb&j&banana sandwich and a fried oreo. I wanted to try a fried snickers but didn't. Doesn't that sound good? Well, of course I forgot my camera so this is the only picture I have of the fair. The girls rode the roller coaster by themselves. They had fun.

Too funny!!

Hayden loves glasses. My mom put hers on him and I thought he looked so funny. Look at those eye lashes.

Another idea

My mom made this one with scrapbook paper and letters she bought from JoAnnes. It looks totally cute and she said it wasn't hard. Probably easier than using stamps. You just don't have all of the different colors to choose from.

Conference Weekend

For conference we always go to my parents' house to watch it since we don't have DISH. Christopher, Mindy and the kids came over too. The kids had fun eating their ice cream after lunch.

All Clean Mommy!!

The other day I told the girls not to come out of their room until it was clean. They eventually came out and I didn't inspect their room right away. This is what I found when I went in their room. Elisabeth put everything that was on the floor on Reagan's bed. The floor was totally clean. Reagan didn't sleep in her bed that night. I couldn't believe it. Elisabeth thought it was funny.

Last Tuesday, I got to go to Enrichment for Church. Chris stayed with the kids. When I got home they were all asleep on the couch. Except Hayden. He was in his bed. The girls were sick last week with fevers. Probably something from Nursery. They are all better now.

This is what I get for helping!!

So, I am having playgroup at my house tomorrow and the back yard hasn't been mowed since the girls' birthday. Chris asked me if I wanted to use the weed wacker. I was like. YES. I had never done it before. So I went and got my flip flops on and got to wackin. I ran out of cord and started to walk over to get some more and I accidentally got my foot. It didn't hurt at first but it really hurts now. Hope it will be better in the morning. Pretty gross.

Fun at the park with cousins

Today we went to the sprinkler park with Mindy, Colin, & Cameron. We packed our lunches and met there for a picnic and played for a few hours. Hayden even played in the water. We got all the way home and I realized that Reagan didn't have her shoes. We had to drive all the way back to get them.
