Surprise!

I wanted to surprise everyone by blogging today :) It's only been a year and a half or so since my last post hahaha! This year my brother Ethan married Jordyn they now have a ... puppy.

My parents are in the process off adopting Desirae a 14 yr old from Salem Oregon. That's been an adventure!

Devon and Kelcie had a sweet baby girl about two weeks ago and now I'm an auntie :D

Mom and I got the news that Kelcie's water broke around midnight. We hopped in the car and drove straight to Rexburg and arrived around 5am. Ashlyn was about four hours old when we got there! She has Devon's eyes and nose and Kelcie's mouth and chin.

I'm currently living with Teri and Wes Berry a few blocks away from my parents. It's nice to be close to home and have my own space! The Berrys have been so nice to let me stay with them while I figure out a plan for the future. The recent past has been fun! I've taken road trips to Arizona, California, Utah, Idaho and Washington. I've lived in Idaho, Oregon and Montana. I've enjoyed my travels :) I hope that the next move I make will be a more permanent one and I'll be able to put down some roots.

I'm not sure how often I'll update my blog or how personal I want to get but I wanted to write a brief update!

I used the TV setting on my camera and was able to make the water blurry, yay!

Well I hope you enjoyed the pictures.. it's been fun taking them :) I have some good news! I got a job today!!! I've been applying and interviewing for jobs since I graduated at the end of April. I was about ready to go bored out of my mind! I have new hire stuff in a few days and so after that I'll give you a few more details about the job.

Ayo ayo... until then!

Finally an update!

The more time passes by the harder it is for me to want to update my blog... because so much has happened the past couple of months! I think I'll try and use pictures to update you all--they're more exciting than boring words ;)

We had a Kellogg family fun day at the ropes course! Oh, and we all rope swing-ed over to that little board and all seven of us fit on there!!!! It was a little squishy...

We also walked across this log way up in the sky--SCARY!

After about three hours of playing in the rain at the ropes course we decided to call it a day. We were cold, brrrrr...

Mom and Dad bought me a camera (Canon 50D) for my graduation gift, wow!!!!!!!!

These are my 112 friends at Camille's house in Payson. We had a yummy BBQ... this is with my new camera-it takes nice pictures, huh?!!!

I inherited a whole bunch of ties from my brother Devon and I finally sold my first one on ebay! Um I won't tell you how much it sold for and how much shipping cost because that's embarrassing! I learned a lesson...

A pretty bee... my camera is amazing!

SARI SARI

I'm almost done with school, yay!!! I have about a month to go. There is one class that I'm worried about. In fact I'm writing two papers for it right now. I'm just hoping to do well enough in the class to pass! I haven't had much practice in writing theory analysis papers so it's been a little challenging.

Yesterday I was able to participate in the temple dedication! It was so wonderful. I always love to hear from the prophet and apostles. The temple is just beautiful too!

The past few days have been sunny and warm :D This morning, however, it snowed... I think mother nature forgot that it is now officially spring! I hope it warms back up before the weekend cuz I have some fun plans!

I've decided that i want to lose 20 lbs. I should probably just aim for 10 lbs right now but I really want to lose 20! It's time to get rid of the ice cream and m&ms... hmmmm and I should hang out at the gym a little more often. I need a good book to read while I'm there though. Any suggestions?

Anyways, just a few of my random thoughts. I'd better get back to writing my paper(s).

The Happiest Place on Earth!

I love Disneyland. I love being a kid. I love road trips! Last Thursday I drove 10 hours through the desert to Irvine/LA California to spend the weekend with my dear friend Jackie. It was so worth the drive!!!! I've missed my Jackily terribly this semester. It was another grand adventure! It's been over 6 months since our last adventure, to NYC. We've had so many fun times together :) I just wanted to post a few photos from my trip!

I want a man!

School has been keeping me pretty busy the last few weeks. I'm so excited for a break from school :) My next class isn't until Wed. evening and so I plan on catching up on some sleep, reading a good book and playin' a little.

I went to two guest lectures on Thursday by Dr. William Doherty--who is pretty well known in the school of family life. He presented some very interesting material and inspired us (students) to make a difference in our families, communities and the world. Thursday night was part of the Marjorie Pay Hinckley Endowed Chair Fifth Annual Lecture. All five of the Hinckley children were there as well as three of Sister Hinckley's sisters. Also in attendance was Elder Richard G. Scott!!!! It was a wonderful experience. One of my current professors spent a year researching with Dr. Doherty in Minnesota and knows him very well. She is pretty amazing herself and has even been on the today show!

Things aren't going as well as I'd like with Michael. I'm not feeling very attracted to him. We still spend a lot of time together each week and have become pretty good friends. I'm still hoping that those feelings of attraction will come *sigh*. I have been on several dates with other boys the past few weeks and they have been enjoyable. I have a lunch date with an old friend on Monday that I'm excited about! Also there are several boys that I'd like to get to know better :) I'd so much rather be pursued than pursue-- I want a man! Can I say that again? I want a man! Okay, I feel better.

I'll be taking some more photographs this week so wish me luck :)

I went to a Stake Valentines dance with some good friends :D

Life

Have you ever wished for something and then when it actually happened you wished that it hadn't? That's kind of how I feel about Michael. For a long time now I've been hoping to meet a nice boy, like him. Well now that he's here I'm scared and feel like running away!! I know, it doesn't make sense. Hopefully with time I won't feel so scared. Yesterday we went to SLC to meet up with some of my mission friends and I also took some engagement photos for one of my mission friends.

Michael and i had plenty of time to talk--that was good. I let him know that I don't want to rush into things and want to take things slow (slower than they have been). Hopefully as time goes on I will feel more comfortable with the idea of dating a guy!

At the BYU Idol supporting his roommate!

After the Winterfest choir concert!
Funny story: Friday night I was waiting for Michael to come pick me up. It was just about time for him to come and well.. a few of my roommates were going out to round some people up to come over and play games. They opened the door but before they went out they turned around and Rachel said something like " I hope you have a wonderful date with Michael and that it is really romantic.. " That's about the time my other roommate nudged her ha ha. Michael was standing right there and heard it all :D I couldn't help but laugh!

At the filipino restaurant in Salt Lake City with some of my mission friends :D

I've had a fun and busy weekend which means that I haven't had time to work much on homework, yikes! I have two exams this week, a presentation to give, two papers to write as well as my normal homework. Tomorrow is going to be a little crazy trying to catch up.
