That feels good!
We got a new park here and it has a splash pad. We went a couple of times this week and the kids had a blast!

I signed Jaiden up for soccer with the city. He was really excited about it and the day of, when I told him it was time to start to get ready, he got dressed super fast and basically pushed us out the door. So we got to the field almost 30 minutes early. He used that time to “exercise” and get ready for the game. Austin got in on the action too.
His shorts kept sliding down.
Once everyone else got there, they practiced for a half an hour and then started the game. GO SHARKS!
He did a GREAT job and did everything the coach asked him to. I kind of forgot it was coming up and didn’t get his cleats and shin guards for the first game. After quite the search we finally found some affordable cleats in his size and he was set to go for the second game!
Once again, he did some pre-game working out, this time with a team member.
After a couple of dramas (before the game started), in which he declared he didn’t want to play soccer “ever again!” , he actually got in and did a great job. When his coached asked him if he wanted to play, he said he didn’t have energy to play and so he had a snack and then walked on over! Funny kid!
He also got to be a goalie and did a great - if not somewhat boring – job!
At this Tuesday’s game, his Tia, Tio, Abuelo and Primas stopped by for a few minutes to see them. I think the big grin on his face is because of that.
And I love the tongue! Grandpa?!?!
He and his friend were supposed to be playing defense but I think the game had actually gone over time and they were kind-of done playing. So they were playing dead. I’m pretty sure his friend was doing CPR here.
The other happy and good thing is that Jaiden started kindergarten this week! Yay! He is loving it and having a good time. Hopefully we’ll get a good bedtime routine down soon!
The end.
