Bath Time

Because Zach can't sit up well, I had just been giving him baths while he was lying down and with just a little bit of water in the tub. We do have a baby tub but he still falls forward and it's just hard to keep him from falling and keep the other boys from whatever they might do to him. So I was just lying him down but I felt bad because he didn't play in the water or splash or anything like Jaiden and Austin have. The other day, Carlos bathed him in the baby tub, sitting up and taught him to splash and play and he loved it! It was so cute!

Well, I mentioned the baths to his physical therapist yesterday and she said that they had a bath chair that he could use to help him sit up and be able to play in the water. His occupational therapist brought it by this afternoon. Curious, I asked how much something like that cost if we wanted to get one....$400-$500!!! It's a good thing we can use this one for as long as we need! Seriously, we could probably make something with some PVC pipe and something for the chair.

We tried it out tonight and I think he really liked it. The boys were really cute, showing Zachy all of the toys and helping him to play.
