pa pa, ma ma and kaow kaow kaow

We are getting surprises from Caleb every other day. This is the time when babies learn & pick up things real fast.

He started off with a few slow careful steps and few days later he was already walking far. And now, he is moving on to the stairs .. sweat*.

Caleb is learning to talk too. Papa, Mama, PorPor, JieJie, JiuJiu, GongGong etc. What surprises me is "clock", yes he knows how to pronounce clock.. haha... cheam ar. And when he goes into lengthy conversations, it will be kaow kaow kaow kaow kaow... funny. I have taken a video of that with my handphone and tonnes of other funny videos. But still trying to figure out how to convert into playable format to load it on the blog. I am a computer idiot.

Flying... Not to Japan

Our much-awaited Japan trip was cancelled because of the H1N1 flu, sob sob sob. Bloody flu.

The whole cancellation thing was a pain in the a%#. Initially, we were slapped with a $150 cancellation fee per person. After much negotiations with the tour agency, we manage to get it reduced to $75 per pax excluding the babies (yes, we protested agst Add Imagethe fees charged for the non-paying infants). Next, we have to think about how we can use the refund in the form of travel vouchers by year end - zzz zzz.

No Japan trip, No maid in house (she's away on home leave) = 2 weeks of agony for the adults.

Daddy & Mummy was both on leave on 16th Jun Tuesday so they took Caleb & PorPor to the Singapore Flyers. Our 1st time there, except Daddy who has taken it 4 times before & still counting. Coincidently, 16th June is suppose to be the day we depart for Nippon. We still get to "fly". But in the Singapore Flyer instead... Haiz... Life is full of irony.

Daddy spent $18 just for this picture- so ex! All becos Caleb was unusually good to look straight into the cam.

Mr Itchy Fingers meddling with the padlock & label sticker.

Caleb kept going round the seats during the half hour ride. He was no where near the glass. Hmmm, maybe he knows it's really high... smart ney?

Tries to climb on the seat.

Struggling to break free when you grab him for a pic...haiz.

Fascinated by the kois, the pond & the mini waterfall as always. He loves the nature.

Nicest picture of the day.

Finishing the last lap before heading home... still in superb mood.

Daddy's home !

Daddy's finally home on 3rd June - after 16 long agonising (for mummy) days. We are at the airport to welcome him. There are only a handful of people when we reach T3's arrival hall at abt 7pm . I think there are more airport staff than visitors..haha. That is good - we want to avoid crowds because of H1N1.

Caleb has only started walking longer distance yesterday & today. So it's test time for walking with his shoes on. And YES, this marks the the 1st time he's took a walk in the public !
