My Passport... erm application

Mummy finally got down to applying for Caleb's passport online today. Keeping her fingers & toes crossed XXXXXX that the picture submitted will pass ICA's requirements. hai ... it is no easy feat to "tame" Caleb down for the shot. This is the best pic, even though the hair's abit messy & he's glancing upwards a little bit (becos he is being baited by his fav toy).
Mummy colleagues commented that he looks sad & unwilling. Haha.

Virgin swim (or dip?)

It was a sunny Sunday on 8-Feb. Charlotte was going for her dip at the children's pool at NRSCC. The plan was only to have Caleb kick & touch the water while Charlotte have her fun. But he got excited & insists of joining in. No choice. Daddy have to walk back to the chalet to get his new swimsuit - a timely gift from JiuJiu & family :D
And this will be Caleb's virgin swim (hmm... or rather dip??) Just 2 days short of his 1st birthday.

The GREAT Party!

The GREAT Party was held on 7-February, a Saturday, because Caleb's actual birthday 10th falls on a weekday. Daddy & Mummy checked in the chalet without Caleb because they had to do the preps. With him around, 2 hours work might take 2 days ... ha.

The Party went well. Yeah! Mummy's fears did not happen - we did not be booted out by the chalet's management ;) We had nice balloon decorating the main door & living room area. We had a balloonist to entertain the kids for one & half hours. We had an amazing Mickey Mouse birthday cake. We had 2 different buffet spread, from Orange Clove & Ivinns. We had lots & lots of guests which were filling up the house & overspilling to areas around the chalet.

Many Thanks to all our relatives & friends for taking time to join us in our celebration & their gifts & angpows too!

The Decor

Great thanks to GuoRui & Michelle for coming in so early to help do up the place with the colourful balloons. We love it. And so do the kids. It was evident. The balloons were all wiped out by the end of the party :D

The Entertainment

We decided to hire a balloonist to entertain the kids instead of giving party packs. Best decision made. It was simply hassle-free and the kids were kept occupied. Yeah!
(Mickey Mouse balloon is for Caleb - his fav cartoon)

The Mickey Cake
The cake was sponsored by Grandpa for his beloved Grandson. It is a 3 kg cake from Smiling Orchids. Costs quite a bit. But certainly amazingly done. Love it!

P.S. It's a pity there weren't a lot of photos taken, especially with our guests. For the rest of the pics, you can view from my (Joyce's) facebook.
