Geez i can still remember vividly THE day when we had him. I was rushed to the hospital bleeding badly in the morning. Was worried sick for my baby's safety until the last second before KO-ed by the GA. First time i saw him, it breaks my heart. He was sooooo tiny that i'm afraid i will hurt him whenever i touch him.
I can still recall the WAIT when he was in NICU. Time seemed to come to a standstill then. Every morning, we will be waiting anxiously for Dr Yip's call telling us his progess. Anxiously waiting for him to tell us our darling is well enough to come home. I can also remember our daily visits to NICU. We will hold & touch our darling's tiny hands or legs & take lots and lots of pictures. We talk to him and I will get to cuddle him. I remembered the envy we had when the other premmies/babies leave the NICU & wondered when will it be our turn.
When he finally came home, WOW WOW, i can't remember what happened in between HAH. Maybe i was in semi-conscious due to the lack of sleep.. haha. But really, I AM blessed to have my Mom taking care of Caleb. He was still a teeny weeny baby when we brought him home. All thanks to her tender loving care, Caleb has grown up well. He is a cheery boy (most of the time la)- our Sunshine Prince.
The GREAT Celebration for Caleb's party is held at NSRCC's chalet. Why is it GREAT Celebration? Because the guest list was - gasp!- 170 excluding 30-odd kids. OMG.
