While Julia had gymnastics yesterday, I took Kat, Elliott, and Lucy to a nearby gym to burn off some energy for a couple of hours.

 

December 30

 Kat (and Gus) ran two miles yesterday. I followed on bike because, well, running sucks.

Tucker, our cousin, spent the afternoon and evening with us. While Julia was at gymnastics, and Clay, Elliott, and Lucy were at Jiu Jitsu, I took Kat and Tucker downtown to an outdoor ice rink.

 

 Tucker doesn't get to play in the "snow" much in South Carolina, so he and Kat had fun throwing snow at each other.

 

December 29

Happy Birthday Nonna!!!

 

We spent yesterday hanging out with Clay's extended family that we don't get to see very often.

So ummm... it only took Kat 2 days to put this together. 1,554 pieces. Thought it might take a little more time. She had fun though.

 

Lucy is taking Jiu Jitsu now as a trial to see how she likes it. She enjoyed her first class. Doesn't Elliott look thrilled to have her in class?

We met Joe and Nikole at the zoo this afternoon. The weather was in the 70s. It was cloudy off and on and it was breezy. Pretty nearly perfect weather. Plus, as an added bonus, it kept me out of my house, which is good considering how all the clutter from Christmas is making me crazy! Time to find a new place for all the new stuff!

 

 

 We got to pet the opossom - it was surprisingly soft.

Merry Christmas!

Elliott woke up at 5am, 5:30am, and finally at 6:30am, we let him stay up. About 5 minutes later, he woke the girls up.

 Happy Birthday Jesus!

The kids were very excited to give their gifts to their siblings.

 

 

 More Legos

We are paying for Julia's gymnastics camp

 

 After church, we headed to Mamaw and Bapaw's house to eat and exchange gifts.
