February 24

​This week Jade hung out with me on Monday instead of Thursday. I have her three options for things she could help with. Two were fun and one was to test out all the Sharpies. She chose the Sharpies, so I painted and glued more chicks onto volunteer appreciation cards. 

February 23

​After church I headed to Sam’s Club to purchase 25 packages of Koolaid Jammers for basketball season’s final games this weekend. I got some second glances at Sam’s Club. I headed back to church and unloaded them and then started working on Kids Min volunteer appreciation. Elliott was home catching up on some schoolwork and Lucy was at a friend’s house for a game night, so I stayed at church and got things done. I was there from 8am-6pm. I was brain-dead by 7pm- ha!

February 22

​Elliott stopped by WKU with Bryson and his family to visit their sister that also attends WKU. 

February 21

​I woke up this morning to a text from Julia. She said that she hadn’t sent me a picture in awhile. She’s living her best life hanging out with friends at midnight hockey. It was a good way to start my day.

February 20

Clay left work early yesterday, so of course I put him to work when he got home. He didn’t want me working a jigsaw without supervision (I may have a bad track record with power tools). We used some old foam insulation board from a previous VBS to make prickly pear cactus paddles and some canyon rock for this summer’s VBS. Now I need to sand, glue, and paint them. 

We visited with Old Mamaw too. 

Then we dropped Lucy off at a CrossFit teen hangout called Workout and Waffles. We grabbed dinner while she was was at her hangout. Elliott is on his way home from Florida and will get home sometime tomorrow. 

February 19

​Jade and I spent three hours at church working as the receptionists. While we sat there, we went through all the markers for kids ministry and tossed dried up markers. We also made egg ornaments out of clay. The kids will decorate them Wednesday night.

Elliott and Bryson are enjoying their cruise and still enjoying spending time with each other. 

February 18

​Lucy and I got home this afternoon, just in time to go to church. Elliott spent the day in Nassau, Bahamas.

February 17

We had dinner with Grandpa, LuLu, and Nonna tonight. 

Nora is now a big sister! Baby Josie was born today. I won’t have trouble remembering her birthday- it’s the 4 year anniversary of my knee injury!

February 16

​The boys are on their cruise with Mark (Bryson’s dad)

Lucy and I are visiting with Nonna. We have been busy rearranging furniture and cleaning out some of Carroll’s belongings.

February 15

​Lucy and I had lunch with Uncle Stump on our way to Nonna’s house.

Elliott and Bryson were entertained at Universal CityWalk while Leah and Mark were at the dance competition.
