Sunday was Cole's baby blessing at church. It was fun to have a lot of people from both of our families there. Brylee was really excited to have both sets of grandparents at our church with us. Craig gave Cole a really good blessing. I'll post some pictures from his blessing day on here soon.
Craig's birthday was yesterday. The big 31! He has been working sooooo hard these past few weeks (I'm talking....not getting home until midnight) so it was so nice that he was able to get home at a normal time to celebrate his birthday!
He picked his special birthday dinner: Steak and Crab legs! (I wasn't complaining!)
Me and Brylee made him a birthday cake! I have to give him a hard time about being "so old". I am obviously NOT a cake decorator, but it sure tasted good.

We sang "Happy Birthday" to Craig. Brylee is totally into birthday parties and was sooooo excited about this. We even hung a birthday banner and blew up a few balloons. Daddy was so nice and let her sit on his lap. She sang to him...and Cole was just trying to figure out what was going on!
They blew out the candles together!

We were all glad to have him home last night and to celebrate his birthday! He has a lot of people who love him at this house!
Craig isn't the only one who had a birthday this week. Today is Cole's 4 week "birthday"! I can't believe that he has already been a part of our family for 4 whole weeks!
It was a pretty special week!

Of course, after I got the kids' rooms set up, I had to make a run to the wood connection and get letters so I could put their names up in their rooms.
After about 11 hours, I started feeling some pain. Craig was there to hold my hand. Luckily, my labors have gone really fast and by the time I feel pain, I know I only have a few minutes until "pushing time".
I always wondered if I would love my second baby as much as I loved Brylee....It was love at first sight.
Brylee stayed with Aunt Whitney and Uncle David and they brought her to the hospital to meet her brother on Saturday. She gave him one little kiss...and then decided she wanted to push every button in the hospital room.

He has been such a sweet and calm baby. He doesn't sleep very well, but that is to be expected with a newborn. It is crazy how just two weeks ago, we were trying to imagine how our lives were going to be once he arrived and now we can't imagine our lives without him! We love him so much and we are so happy to have him in our family!
