This is my biggest achievement in a long time! It came as such a surprise and I was so grateful for it! It feels so good when hard work pays off.... I can't believe I am almost done with school! Just a little less than 5 months and I take my first Board in JANUARY! Times flies!!!!!!!!!

The Great Race

Every year Dixie has a little friendly competition between the different school clubs in a little thing they like to call The Great Race.

This year I happen to be part of a club (in Dental Hygiene) so we were "lucky enough" to be a part of it! I have seen it for years, but never participated! 

It is a giant relay with a couple hundred kids. Each person has a specific event such as......

Spinning around a baseball bat and running around the baseball bases (Chantel)

Running a mile or so.. (Britt)

Swimming in an intertube (Jess)

Slip 'n' Slide (Kristy)

ETC!

Well, my lovely event was the MUDPIT!!!!!

IT WAS SO MUCH HARDER THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE!!!!!!!!!

First I had to run like a 1/4 of a mile... which just about KILLED ME! hahahaha so out of shape! Then I got to the mudpit. You have to go through a big tube into the mud... Then get through the mud to another little TINY tube and get through that and then get to the end and run again!..... I was clueless at the beginning not to WALK through the mud but to CRAWL!! My feet were sinking like a foot into the mud and I couldn't get them back out so it was taking me FOREVER!! When I finally got the hint from my lovely friends yelling at me from the sides, I got on my knees.... SO MUCH EASIER!! I went through the little tube, which only had like 7 or 8 inches of air between the mud and the top of the tube! I didn't put my face under! :) When I was crawling my arms kept falling into sink holes and I would fall all the way up past my shoulders... Mud was splashing and I had a mouth full! So gross!!!! haha When I got out I had to run like another couple hundred feet to pass the Baton... THAT WAS THE HARDEST RUN OF MY LIFE!!! I weighed like 3 times what I normally do I swear! I had on tennisshoes, long yoga pants, and a baggy tshirt. BAD IDEA!!!! they weighed SO MUCH and they were hanging so low! I could barely move! I kept feeling like I was gonna just fall right on the ground! 

Overall, it was a lot of fun! but I don't think I will ever be doing that again! I was so excited when I was done because I saw Cade who was supposed to be at work!!! He got off work early and suprised me and was there to support his muddy little wife!!!

Lotsa New Babies!!

I have gotten LOTS of new babies to play with!! 

My lovely friend McCall had Baby Payton on March 10th, 9 weeks early! She is just a tiny little thing but she is sweet as can be!!!  

My sister in law Brooke had cute, perfect little twins on March 19th. Stockton and Sadie could not be more perfect!!!! They have the sweetest little faces and little round heads!

My sister in law Sarah is expecting her little girl Taetum any day now!!

It is so exciting to have all these little babes to play with!! LOVE IT!!!!!

We've Been Framed.....!!

Yesterday Cade and his dad and brothers framed the basement! They took one day and knocked it all out! Next comes plumbing and the rest of the electrical. It is so awesome to walk around down there and have real rooms! Can't wait 'til it's done!

My Sewing Machine can EAT DUST! haha It is giving out on me..... But I guess I have gotten a good 13 years out of it. Have no idea when I will possibly be able to get a new one. SUCK! Sad Sad day..... Hopefully I can get a few more projects out of it.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving!!! We got to go to PD and it was so nice to get away for a few days, especially to spend time with my family! I MISS THEM ALWAYS!

I am back to Diet Coke.... I went on a little rootbeer kick, but back to my true love. 

I also went back to the trustee Studio Fix! I forgot how wonderful this powder is! 

My new discovery!!  Fix+! Spray it on your face after you have your powder, bronzer and blush on.... Takes away the "Powder look" and also fixes your makeup in place! LOVE IT!

Always had a problem with my eye liner rubbing onto the creases of my eyes. Yuck! No more thanks to ColorStay! (Thanks Kourtnie!)
