I needed a sympathy card and kept it pretty simple with tone on tone colors. I used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set on Crumb Cake card stock. I embossed the card using the Adorning Accents Impressions folder to add some texture to the card, along with some ribbon.

Masculine birthday
This card was inspired by all the cards I’ve seen on Pinterest using squares with the rounded corners. I needed another masculine card so I decided keep the color palate pretty neutral. Luckily I had all these scraps of DSP with some browns in it.
Have a great weekend!

Kenichi Birthday
Today is my brother’s birthday and I made this card for him. This is Kenichi, another stamp from the Sister Stamps latest release. I kept it pretty simple and used the colors from the origami paper to color in the image.

Katsura Boy’s Day Card
I got my newest Sister Stamps last week and finally inked them up. This is Katsura. I added two additional carp to his pole to fill in more of the card.
I’m pretty happy with how this card turned out.

Blossom Party birthday
I dusted off my Blossom Party die and cut out these flowers. I layered 3 cut outs per each flower to make them look fuller and added the brad in the center to hold them all together. The sentiment is from my favorite stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Day of Gratitude birthday
Here is another attempt at a masculine card. I used the 1” square punch to punch out the leaves from the Day of Gratitude stamp set and mounted it on the postage stamp punch.
I’m resisting the urge to add some bling to it…maybe a pearl or two.

Sweet Shop birthday
This is another card I made using the Sweet Cake stamp set and Sweet Shop DSP. I tried to make this one more masculine, but I kind of think the Sweet Shop DSP is too cute for a guy.
I have a bunch of birthdays coming up, but they are all males, so it is so much harder for me to figure out card designs.

Miyako Birthday
I really liked this color and paper combo (from my post on Monday) and thought I would try it out using Miyako from Sister Stamps. I used the negative part of the patterned paper for the background and popped up the red scalloped circle with Miyako on it. I also added some glitter brads to the edge of the scallop circle.

Sweet Cake Birthday
Our 9 year old neighbor’s birthday is coming up soon and I thought that this Sweet Cake stamp and coordinating Sweet Shop DSP would be perfect for her. I embossed the cupcake part of the stamp using the scented vanilla embossing powder to give it something extra.
She is a very girly girl, so I thought that the glimmer brads and ribbon were the perfect touch for her card.

Yoshimi Birthday
My DH notified me late Thursday night that it was his coworker’s birthday over the weekend, so I went to work on her card so he could give it to her on Friday. His coworker is from Hilo, so I thought a card using one of the Sister Stamps would be perfect.
So here is the card I made using Yoshimi. The sakura are a die that I got from Photo Craft recently. I popped up each of the petals so that the card had lots of dimension, and added a pearl in the middle.
Here is the inside of the card.
I’m glad I went with Yoshimi, DH’s coworker liked her card. Yay!

Masa Easter
Happy Easter!
I have another Masa Easter card. I cut Masa out using the Labels Collection Framelits die and layered him with the Sweet Shop DSP. I used the Sweet Shop DSP as my inspiration for the colors, and I also embossed the card base with the Adorning Accents hearts embossing folder.
Be sure to check out the Sister Stamps blog, they have a big release tomorrow!!

Blossom Party Birthday
I used the Clean & Simple sketch for this card. I was also inspired by all the Ombre fashion I’ve been seeing recently. The blues aren't exactly Ombre, but I liked the idea of an all blue card.
I layered the Blossom Party die over one of the circles from the Perfect Pennants die. I used the Scallop Trim Boarder punch on the horizontal strips.
I like how this card came out, I think I should use sketches more often!

Beautiful Butterflies Birthday
I love butterflies and I finally got the Beautiful Butterflies die to pair along with the Beautiful Wings embosslit. I used the Fun Flowers die as the background for the butterflies.
I only attached the butterflies in the center so their wings could add some dimension. And you can see a tiny peek of the butterflies that I added on the inside of the card.
