Mimi birthday card

I'm getting back into my Hello Kitty dies. This one is actually Mimi. I used a bunch of scrap DSP for her clothing and purse. The background was made using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.
This is another one of the stamps in the Four Frames stamp set. I really like this set, it is so versatile.
Have a great week!

Happy Birthday Owl

I used the Two Step Owl punch and the branch from the Two Step Bird punch.
I used some Illuminate Top Coat Smooch Pearlized ink over the heart to give it some shimmer.
Hope you have a great weekend!

With Sympathy

Sympathy cards are so hard to make. I made this one using the Manhattan Flower embossing folder for the background and Fifth Avenue Floral. I also used the new Four Frames that will be available in the upcoming IBC. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Here's a close-up of the frame.
I paper pieced the flower to give it more dimension. I also sponged some ink over the background and edges for a little color.
Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful Wings Thanks

For this card, I used the Beautiful Wings embosslit and the Petal Card punch. The sentiment is from the Afterthoughts hostess set. Still on my mission to make cards that don't require extra postage. I really like how this one turned out.
I found a leftover piece of Elegant Soiree DSP and thought it was the perfect background paper for my butterflies.
I'm trying to build up my stock of "thank you" cards, they always come in handy.

Blossoms Thank You

I love all the coordinating stamp and punch sets that Stampin' Up! has been coming out with! They make it so easy to create a card. For this card I used the Build a Blossom stamp set and matching Blossom Petals punch.
I ran the leaves through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder for some added texture.
Happy Monday!

Windowpane Bliss

I'm still trying my hand at the vintage look. I've seen lots of versions of this card around and thought I'd try it out. I used the Bliss sale-a-bration stamp set and a Windowpane to make this card. I also used the Framed Tulip embossing folder. I like how the windowpane adds a spotlight to the card.

Have a great weekend!

Butterfly Prints Birthday

For this card I used Butterfly Prints stamp set and the Lattice die and layered it over square lattice embossed paper.

I also tried out some Moonlight Smooch on the butterfly and the corner of my sentiment.

I really wanted to add more bling to this card, but I'm on a mission to make cards that don't require extra postage. I think all the textured helped with the lack of bling. What do you think?

Hello Kitty Birthday

I recently reorganized my craft room and rediscovered my Hello Kitty dies. I decided to use her for the card I made for my cousin's daughter.
I also used the Heart Pressed letterpress plate for the back ground, you can kind of see it in this picture. I think it adds just the right amount of texture without competing too much with Hello Kitty.
She'll be 6 tomorrow!
