I was working on these composition books over the summer. I thought they would make great gifts for the little girls. I made a few in each design and ended up making 14!! of them.
I also made these crayon boxes. I got the idea from here, but altered the pattern to hold a full box of 24 crayons.
I can't believe the year is almost over! Do you have plans for New Year's Eve?
This is another calendar that I made for Christmas gifts. I used all Stampin' Up stamps.
I decided I had to make some non-Hello Kitty calendars for the people who aren't HK fans. These were a lot easier than the die cuts, and I like how they came out, but you just can't beat Hello Kitty (LOL).
This is one of the Christmas gift projects that I was working on but couldn't post. Now that its after Christmas, and I hope everyone's opened their gifts, I'll show you the Hello Kitty Calendar. I was inspired by the calendar that Jenny made.
It took a lot more time than I had expected but I was really happy with the results.
This weekend we went to the Seattle Center to check out their train set up. DH loves trains, and theirs was pretty impressive. There was a whole village filled with holiday festivities including carousal rides.
The kids could even take a turn at controlling the trains!
Since we were there, we went up to the top of the Space Needle.
It was actually pretty warm (for this time of year) and the sun was out.
Decoration inside the Space Needle gift store. At the top, they also has a Santa that you could take your picture with, and instead of the traditional decorations, he was in a space craft (I didn't get a picture though).
This is the Christmas card I made this year - actually, this is a "sample" one. I ran out of the string, so this one only has one string, the "real" cards had two. I embossed the sentiment and trees to give it a shiny look.
I used puffy tape to make the sentiment and the two outer trees stick out. And I used the cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder on the background.
We drove out to Snoqualmie Falls yesterday. On the way there, in Fall City, we saw that part of the river was frozen. But these guys were still fishing! Snoqualmie Falls... and this is without any snow or rain!
