I know this is a pathetic stand-in for a Christmas card, but I was bored and my family was away for a few days. I hope you enjoy it!

NYC for Thanksgiving
We went back to the city for Thanksgiving. It was a great trip. We have been missing it (a lot) and it was nice to go back.
Christmas windows at Lord and Taylor
NYU and Washington Sq. Park
And some old friends...
Chinatown
Cyra--always camera-ready.
Lulu kicking her shoes off and going barefoot for a second.

Halloween Post
Having Thanksgiving this week made me think about all of the things that I am thankful for and one of those things is Halloween:
Lulu getting her face painted:
The placement of lulu's tongue always reveals her mood. Here, it is pure concentration.
The kids came to trick-or-treat at the law school and Lulu made a candy train in my office.
This is actual trick-or-treating. Note the awesome halloween decorations that Jared made.
We walked around our neighborhood in the cold and rain, but it was worth it.

Picnics and Ponies
Impromptu picnic in the backyard (a while ago).
We went to a wedding (Jared's cousin) and there was a carousel. The girls rode it about 15 times.
And some cookies...
(note on the random post--I have these straggler photos that I forgot to post from a few months ago.)

Ramona
This baby is seriously the best baby ever. She comes with me to the office all the time and just hangs out--totally content wherever she is.
She just fell asleep playing around on the floor:
And she lets me dress her up in ridiculous outfits:
And she's adorable...
And this is her favorite position:
She's just so sweet. She's always happy and just gives me these smiles and coos at me--I love this baby!
I love the other ones too:

Visit from the family
My parents and Hediyeh and Darius made a quick weekend visit. I really miss not living close to them and I really hope we can eventually convince everyone to come out here.
On our block--going for a hike.
On the bonneville trail, which is just around the corner from us.
(ignore my scowl--not sure what I was looking at or for).
hiking around squaw peak:
(I love Cyra's pose with that shoulder.)
