My little nephew Hugo Dominic was born on 15 May 2006, and I made him this little quilt to hang on his nursery wall. I will be meeting little Hugo for the first time tomorrow, as he lives in Brisbane far away from his Aunty Michelle.
Once I spied these redwork patterns from patternbee.com, I knew they would be ideal. The sashing fabrics are a variety of vintage repro 1930s fabrics in blue, cream and red. All up, the quilt took me two weeks to make.

Mary Mary
This is block 2 for the quilt I'm making to hang on a nursery wall.
My baby brother and his partner had their first child on Monday night - a little boy called Hugo Dominic. I'm trying to get the quilt finished by the 25th when I head up to meet Hugo for the first time.

Sashiko pincushions
Made in a little over 3 hours for a mini-raffle at the SCQuilters pre-retreat dinner. The patterns are by Sharyn Hall.
Little Boy Blue - redwork
This is the first block for the little wall quilt I'm making for my nephew-to-be. The other blocks are a surprise ;-)
