The past week has been a little crazy trying to prepare for Christmas. And with all the snow! Phew. I still have yet to mail my Christmas cards, I guess they will be new years cards this year. But, I did manage to squeeze in a few pictures of Landen.

4 Months Old & Loving It!
Today was Landen's 4 Month check-up. He weighed in at 12 lbs 13 oz (15th percentile) and 24 inches long (20th percentile). The doctor said that he is looking good, even though he didn't put on as much weight as they would have liked. So, he gets to start eating food! This is sort of bitter sweet, it's very exciting that he gets to start eating and yet sort of sad that he will need more than just his mom's milk to survive here in a few months.
We thought we might share Landen's first meal with you!

All I want for Christmas is Bottom Front Teeth
I haven't felt like blogging, because I don't feel like I have much to blog about. Landen is teething and as such has been Mr. Grumpy Pants. For those of you who are thinking, "He's to young to teeth," Don't be doubting me, I took Landen to the doctor. He was pulling at his ear, grumpy, waking up way more than usual at night and doesn't want to eat for more than 2 minutes about every 20 minutes (instead of for 10 every 2 hours). I thought maybe he had an earache, but no, he is getting teeth.
We discovered (ok, we were told about) these teething tablets. I found some, and while they don't work the wonders everyone says they do, they are pretty helpful. I think it more fascinates him because it disolves in his mouth and he is pretty much obsessed with anything that goes in his mouth and he can eat, which is pretty much nothing at this point his life. They do seem to make him a little calmer, but he still hasn't been my happy little boy.
You can see the teeth coming in when you pull his lip back. I just hope he gets them before Christmas and starts being a happy camper for the holidays.
We have been Christmas shopping the last few days, but very unsuccessfully. I found a few things, but the pickings this year, just doesn't seem to be good as in years past. I found a few things, something for Michael and plenty for Landen. But I still have my mom, Nicole and Jacob to shop for. I think I've spent to much time shopping and intend to do the rest in my pajamas on my computer. Except I need stamps for my Christmas cards. And tape to wrap presents. :P
We also put up our Christmas tree! I was very excited. I like Christmas Trees. This year, we didn't even have a Charlie Brown Tree! It's a real tree and it's tall and it's full. Michael was a little pickier this year because it's Landen's first Christmas.
We're working on getting some Christmas pictures done. I'll post those soon.
