Let School Begin!

The start of school was kicked off the night before with dinner at PDQ followed by dessert at Dairy Queen. Nothing like some fried chicken and ice cream to get the school year started off on the right foot!

 

 Walker and Kathryn started 2nd grade!  Oh.my!  Where did the time go!

 



 

Can you tell Walker is ready to get going?  He's thinking "enough already!"  Not the girls!  They would've posed all day;)

And Little Miss started 3-K just a few days later!

Here's to a wonderful school year!!!

A U G U S T / C O U S I N C A M P

We ended summer with quite the celebration--Cousin Camp at Nana and Papa's!

All of the cousins have not been together in quite some time, so needless to say, a whole lot of fun was had down on the river!

 Kathryn joined cousins Mimi and Devon for a mini girl cousin camp before the rest of the gang showed up! There were matching nightgowns and even matching missing teeth as Kathryn and Mimi both required visits from the Tooth Fairy during their stay!

Frances and the boys showed up a few days later and upped the excitement level, if that was possible;)

The cousins weren't the only family having a reunion! Cori, Matt and Amy haven't all been together in a while either. 

What a wonderful way to end a fabulous summer!!

Now that it's October, it's only right that I recap summer! Oh my! How did I get so far behind? I'm attributing it to the fun, full summer we enjoyed!

July started off with the Fourth of July spent on the Alabama River with Nana and Papa...

 

Next up, a  trip to the 'Ham to celebrate Avery's baby dedication and this little cutie's 2nd birthday!

We enjoyed cousins, cousins and more cousins while there!

And even squeezed in a little La Paz;)

 

 

And on the home front, we enjoyed visits to Dauphin Island...

 



And lots of swim meets!
