We opted for a change of scenery on our last day of vacation. We went over to Epcot for a little calmer pace. It was not very crowded and we could move around a bit less spastically.
We got right on Spaceship Evolution (the ride that takes you through the Epcot ball. It was a nice start to the day.
Our next ride was called Test Track. While it was the longest wait of the trip it was also so worth it! We got to design a car- everything from engine to shape.
Then we went on a ride that was a simulation test drive of our car. We tested the efficiency, responsiveness, and power! We were shot outside and suddenly were going 65 MPH! Wooooo! So fun!!
We did some sound and light activities that seemed a little lame after our big ride. We got honked $35 for this less than stellar family photo with us as Guardians of the Galaxy characters. They should hire Dave or I. We'd rock that job.
Will loved the fountains that shot from one to the other :)
We went to the aquarium part next and did a quick Nemo & Friends ride (nothing too exciting)
The aquarium part was great, though! Will really loved it and kept asking me to take pictures.
The grounds were so beautiful!
We had a fun meeting with Donald:
Our lunch reservations took us to Germany:
We ate family style and had some German musical entertainment:
Afterwards we watched some elaborate train sets for a while.
Dave and I found some champagne- yum!
We were able to fondly feel like we were in Venice again:
Some ice cream in France:
We stopped to watch some cool balancing artists:
Some beautiful views across the large central lake:
Well you can't really tell from the pictures but this was a BIG day of walking and Will was pretty worn out by the time we finished visiting all of the countries.
He awoke by the time we hit the water taxi (hmmm... Convenient...)
We hit the pool for a while since it was still early enough in the day.
I don't have the words to explain just how truly magical this vacation was. While we missed Elliette (THANK YOU GRANDPARENTS!!!) it was so great to have such quality time with Will. We can't wait to go back when she's a little older!
