Winter break- Little Giggles

Little Giggles is a fantastic place to take kids to play when the weather is not cooperating. While today was a beautiful 63 degrees in January we have had some cold days. I've Christmas break I took the kids here to play. For a mere $8 a head you can run, play, and mess up this giant playroom... And then LEAVE. No clean up. It's glorious. 

I always save this place for "a rainy day." My kids LOVE IT-- almost as much as I do!! 

2...2...Tutu!!!

We had a birthday for Elliette in November. I thought a "tutu" party for our two-year-old would be cute. Happy birthday, sweet Elliette!!

Here was the party pre-kids:

Our good friend Avery was able to come and our neighbors, Caroline and Hamilton. Everyone- even sweet Hamilton- wore a tutu to celebrate! They were SO cute running around!!

She got lots of help opening her presents:

We are so excited to have a two-year old! For us every age seems better than the last!

Pre-Christmas events

Will had a cute little Christmas party at school that both Dave and I were able to attend. Miss White had a station at every table and kids moved every few minutes. They decorated cookies, made a craft, colored, and played a game. Bingo was a big hit with Will!

That same week Will had a few friends over. He had been begging to have a pizza party for some kids from his class for months. These 5 came to my room after school and we all walked to our house where these kids played HARD for almost 2 house. I'm pretty sure the quiet sitting you see here lasted for just about 3.2 minutes. 

And then sweet Elliette started getting sick. This trip to the walk in clinic confirmed strep. While I felt bad for her I wasn't too sad to miss the 2 afternoon leading up to break at work ;)
