Will was confirmed with strep and Elle has a double ear infection. Awesome. We felt like we all deserved a chocolate shake after that. While we waited in the drive through for the antibiotics.

Sick of sick
We are so SO tired of being sick. I've mentioned that it has been a rough winter... And it continues. Dave and I have both had strep twice in recent weeks, and on Sunday both kids were acting like something was going on with them. We have a gret walk-in clinic, but in weekends it is packed! We waited 2 hours in the waiting room and 20 minutes in the exam room. Let me tell you... That was a loooooong wait!

Snow Play
Here are a few pictures from last week when there was some snow on the ground. Will was totally cool to go outside on his own (I was watching out the window!)
He looked pretty darn cute in his snow suit :)
He was hilarious to watch. You could see him making up stories as he played.
Snowballs! Who to throw them at...?
Keep shoveling, son! It's a long driveway!
Elle watched in fascination for long, LONG periods of time. Beautiful girl!

Valentines in 35 minutes!
8:30 tonight Dave suddenly remembers that Will needs 24 valentines and a box for his class party tomorrow. Um.... Ready, set, GO! Dave ran to the store for the cards while Will and I decided on what kind of box to make. We settled on Olaf from our new favorite movie Frozen. Cut, glue, cut, glue, assembly line sign, stuff, sign, done!!! The three of is rocked it out and we'll even get to bed on time!

Cell phone pics: Dec and Jan
Will and I both had Christmas parties in Dec that I never got around to sharing. In Will's program at school he had a speaking part. I was so nervous for him as he did not participate in programs in years past. I didn't need to stress at all. He did great! He plopped up in his armchair with his "dad" moustache in and said all lines without missing a best. I was a little bummed out by all of the parents talking (really?!) but we had rehearsed the lines so many tunes I could tell what was being said.
My work gathering proved I have some bosses with great senses of humor. They are always in competition with one another so they were blindfolded and had to dress in all of the random clothes set in front of them. Hilarious!
Elle has discovered she lies the trampoline and Will is happy to bounce her and hear her squeals of excitement.
These two truly love one another. When she she lays her head on his chest or leg and says "awwww."
She started walking in December and Will was so excited for her.
He has memorized all of the words to Brown Bear Brown Bear and will "read" to his sister.
They both love playing the piano with Gigi:
Since the museum is free we go up there to the kids area to play often.
Here is a comparison photo of my babies at 13 months old. I think they have a lot more features in common than they used to.
Little Miss really loved her new silver sparkle Toms. In fact, she loves shoes in general. She will bring them to is and after we out them on she'll throw her gads in the air and say "ta-ga!" (Ta-da)
We also now love picking her up from school because her new teacher loves to fix the girls hair! She comes home with the sweetest little styles.
She can be the epitome of sweetness sometimes- kisses, charming head tilts:
But she has an ornery streak, too. Exhibit A: the fit she was throwing in Target. She would not let us pick her up. Notice how she's even pushing up and backwards!
Will's latest obsession is the Ghostbusters. We made him a proton pack from a backpack and a vacuum hose. The trap is from a shoe box and shoe strings. He will have us call the "ghostbuster 2 apartment" (?) and will spend up to an hour catching the ghosts we describe.
He even knows how to draw their logo:
I'm not going to lie. It has been a rough few months. We have all been sick multiple times and neither kid really sleeps through the night. It makes for exhausted parents. But we are trying to enjoy those little moments and remember that this too shall pass.

Snow Day Photo Shoot
Well we are currently on our tenth snow day! On Sunday while there were some big flakes coming down I tortured each child for two minutes in the name of photography.
These aren't quite the images I had in my head so I may have to drag them out again :) But I'm happy I got these of my darling 14 month old and almost 5 year old!!
