Jammies and sleep
My kids LOVE jammies. Will especially will change immediately when we get home from school into them (I can't blame him!) I'm finding many pictures of him lately in which he's already sporting his night time attire.
And the CUTEST thing ever is that they love MATCHING jammies! It started with this pair that Will picked out for the two of them :
We even wear jammies to play date! (To be fair, it was an 8 am play date. Tucker joined in the PJ fun, too)
And sleep. Oh sweet sleep. There is nothing I love better than sleep. Except maybe when my kids are asleep.

Halloween and other fall things I have never posted
Halloween this year was FREEZING! We dressed up anyway and headed out in the name of candy.
Elle and I only made it to 3 houses and we were done. The boys came back soon after. It turned out great, though because the kids were able to hand out candy which they found equally as fun!
Elliette' teacher has so much fun with her long hair. She comes home every day with some cute new updo. This was Halloween's style and I loved it!
Playing out in the leaves:
Walking around downtown one evening:
My father in law and I were able to attend Will's Thanksgiving feast at school. Th kids sang a sweet song and then we ate. Will did great!
I can't believe how fast the fall went. Truly the fall usually drags on a little bit for me but this one flew!

A Fish Tale
Will: "Mom! Mom! You will never believe it!"
Will: "There is the biggest fish EVER in the water!"
Me: "I'm sorry I missed it, buddy! Tell me what it looked like."
Will: "Well it had two big eyes..."
"And it had some pointy things on his head..."
"And it had fins that curved like this..."
Me: "Wow! That sounds crazy! How big was it?"
Will: "Thiiiiiis big!"

Kindergarten
I hate that I haven't blogged about kindergarten yet. It has been SUCH an awesome experience so far. I have felt very comfortable and confident for both Will and us with this new phase. His teacher is Miss White and she has been terrific for Will. Firm and fun is a great combination.
He rides or walks with me every morning and hangs in my classroom for about 10 minutes before going to his own class. After school is about the same. The we usually do a quick thing together before going to pick up Elliette. We will run an errand or go get a snack somewhere. I really treasure this bit of one-on-one time with my little guy. I just love hearing about his day and all that he is learning.
These two pictures were from the first day drop off:
Because Will's school is attached to mine, I often walk over to say hi to him at lunch time. I was also able to go over and read to his class one day. Priceless!! Here is my "thank you" for coming to read: I could have cried tears of joy after my first parent-teacher conference. Miss White said everything a parent wants to hear. She said that Will makes a lot of friends and is high on both reading and math skills. She showed lots of his work to me and I was amazed at what this child can do! He won an Outstanding Effort award, too for setting and reaching personal goals. We're so proud of him! This was his first field trip to a local pumpkin patch. His favorite part was the bus ride- ha! There is a special place in Heaven for Kindergarten teachers. I seriously don't know how they teach so many things to so many kids on so many different levels. We will forever be grateful to Miss White for starting Will's education out right!
