I hope this post isn’t too boring because it’s a lot of hunting for Easter eggs! It began on Thursday of that week with an egg hunt and lunch at Will’s day care. Dave was able to take some time off to attend this event. Here the class is getting ready to go out.

“I’m ready, Daddy!”

Dave had to take pictures of the foods Will was eating; stuff he would NEVER touch at home. It’s amazing what they can get him to do there!

What a fun thing for Daddy to go and see!

Sunday morning I quickly hid some eggs as W was waking up (oops! almost dropped the ball on that parent job!)

He was so excited when he ran in!

Will said the eggs sounded like candy!

After that we had some bunny pancakes (good job, Daddy!)

We met Dave’s parents and grandmother after that for a picnic lunch at a local park. Glenda always out does herself on picnics! YUM!

But it wasn’t long before Will got into his basket.

He then discovered some “noc-ulars” which we told him could help him find his eggs that were hidden. He used them The. Whole. Time. It was hilarious.

I had purchased a new toy for Will’s birthday that we had never opened. It’s a rocket that is propelled when you stomp on a launcher. It was so much fun!

Then it suddenly became more fun to shoot at each other instead of into the sky.

Will was on the receiving end, too.

The boys played a round of putt putt. (I luckily had the golf clubs in the car but the golf ball was M.I.A. We substituted a tennis ball. It fit in the holes so no one complained.)

Thank you for making Easter so much fun, Paul &Glenda! Hope everyone else had just as wonderful of a day!
