Christmas Morning

Finally... The Christmas Morning post!

We spent Christmas weekend with Dave's parents and had a wonderful time. Christmas eve we let the anxious excited one open one present. That would be Dave.

Will wasn't too sure about the car at first.

But, eventually he figured out it wasn't controlling itself.

Will entertained us for a long time on the piano. I think he thought of it as more of a comedy show than a recital :-)

After Will went to bed that night we put together his new train table. The next morning we had the train running before we brought him out.

Needless to say- he was excited.

We Facetimed my parents and Uncle Steven to show off the train table.

It was a memorable Christmas for us! Hope your holiday was just as wonderful. Xoxo.

Videos to tide you over

I have been a busy girl the last few days so I am sorry for not posting anything. I do have some photos from Christmas Day but haven't had the time to get them off my camera yet. So here are a few iPhone videos to tide you over.

We are pretty fond of our little man, but it's sure nice to know that he likes us, too. Dave got an adorable video of "dubby kisses" when Will was about 11 months old. It is my favorite video EVER so if you've forgotten view it here. I got my own sweet kisses caught on camera the other night:

Christmas Eve we drove by a local church to see this cool lights show that was synced to a radio station:

This was taken 2 weeks ago when we were in Kansas City and shopping at the Crown Center. This train display held Will's attention as only trains can. He was entertaining the bystanders with his enthusiasm.

Oh that's nothin'! Wait until you see Christmas Day photos. Let's just say we recognized his love of trains and went with it...

Christmas in the City

A few days ago Dave and Will and I trecked up to Kansas City to celebrate Christmas with my parents and brother. We were also celebrating my mom and brother's birthdays so there were presents and goodies galore!

We ran through the halls since it was so chilly outside (during daytime hours, of course!)

We wrestled around in the hotel living room:

Will was pretty entertained with some new toys, too. This gift-receiving thing is pretty cool!

Thanks for such a memorable weekend. Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday!

Little Rock, day 2

The morning after this Christmas with Dave's paternal side of the family, we then visited with his maternal side. Aunt Becky & Uncle Jim came to our hotel and we opened presents there. Will loves anything with wheels so some Thomas the Train friends and trucks and he was a happy little boy!

Will kept Becky entertained and laughing.

She also gave him a book that makes all sort of choo choo train noises and that was his favorite! I hate to be partial, but doesn't this smile just light up the room?

Little Rock Christmas

I apologize about the lack of posts lately. My other 3 jobs have kept me very busy lately (teaching, photography, and Mommyhood if you're wondering). But now I have two GLORIOUS weeks off from job #1 and can catch up on a few blog posts.

Last weekend we went with Dave's parents to Little Rock to see their extended families for Christmas. The 3 great grands are growing up so fast and it was fun to see them interact.

We had fun just being silly with our funny noses and sweaters! (you have to know me better than to know I would dress myself, husband, or child in snowman sweatshirts)

The kids got some great gifts- Will and Jonah got this lawnmower and for the next hour all he did was push it back and forth from one end of the house to the other. Seriously. One hour. I followed him to watch. Once.

You can see some more pictures of Jonah here. (Job #2)

And little Penny loved up on her cousin Will!

Dave taught Will all about expressions at bath time tonight!

Bath Time

Will is totally a momma's boy- which I told him is perfectly fine no matter what the other kids say! However, is ALL about Daddy during bath time! The two of them have all sorts of inside jokes and games they play. Will stays in until he's a prune. I prefer to stay away from bath time because the amount of water that is flung around that room sends my blood pressure skyrocketing. I did venture in the other night to take a few pictures of my sweet boy having so much fun.

This is his fish face :)

Love this little fish!
