5 months

I can't believe our baby has been with us for 5 months already. He is without a doubt the light of our lives.

Weekend Review

This past weekend my parents came for a visit. We packed a lot into 2 days! We started out at the Farmer's Market.

Followd by a little outdoor dining:

We then took a short walk down a local trail to see the progress of the museum that is being built here. Yes, it may be little ol' Arkansas, but we are getting an unbelievable art museum- to host American art- and the design is uh-mazing.

Dave and I then attended our first "parents event" at Will's school! Oh my- when did we become grown ups? We had an ice cream social at the day care to kick off the new school year. Will's bud Owen is going there now as well.

Afterwards we hit the pool and had a little dinner:

Is it possible that we fit all that in one day?? Lots of activities makes for one happy little man before bed. Couldn't you just kiss this little face off?

So busy!

Again, seems like the days just fly by and another week has gone by since a blog post. I was soaking up my last few days at home with Will. We've hit the "pool" almost every day. He tends to be very relaxed in the water. He sits in his float and has now decided he prefers to lean forward and take it all in rather than lean back.

We hung out- just the 3 of us- all weekend. Dave has loved toting him around in this carrier lately. He says it's perfect access for lots of kisses.

Will has been keeping us laughing with a new trick the last two weeks. If I've talked to you on the phone you've probably heard it already. He has decided to challenge Adam Lambert in a singing contest, so he has been practicing his high pitched tones:) Here he is just waking up- love the new toe-grabbing, too!

After each scream he has to take a HUGE breath- I caught it pretty well here:

If your ears can stand it, here's one more.

My 1st official day back to school is tomorrow. I took him to the day care for just a few hours Monday and Tuesday. Yes, the tears were ugly (on me) but the pick up smiles make it a llittle more bearable. My parents always took a "first day of school picture"-- a tradition I STILL continue at age 29. I thought Will needed to have the same tradition.

I can't believe these 4 and a half months are already over! How many days until Christmas???

Another First!

Look what William started this week! He started waking up in the middle of the night hungry- which he hasn't done in weeks. So, we decided to fill his belly up before bed with just a little bit of oatmeal. He loved it!

He couldn't get enough of it it. He kept grabbing the spoon and holding it in his mouth as if he was saying "I know this is where that yummy stuff is coming from so I'm keeping it in my mouth!"

The best part is-- he's sleeping 6 hours again!!
