Can't believe Christmas has come and gone

Christmas sure went by fast for me this year. I guess with the early birth of c time has flown bye. We had a great Christmas just went by to fast. Now it's time for New Years and my birthday..woohoo!!

I can't believe C is already 1 month old and is close to being 2 months.  Where does this time go?? I wanted to write some things down about C to remember.  At your 1 month check-up you weighed 6 pounds and 3 oz. You are gaining good our little preemie.  I can't wait to see what your weight is at your next appointment the 27th. Poor man you are having to get a shot once a month until march because you were a preemie.  It breaks my heart to see you get shots, so sad.  At 1 month you take 3oz of milk and sleep in about 3.5 to 4 hour stretches.  You still sleep a lot but are starting to stay awake for longer stretches.  You are also starting to coo and it melts my heart.  P is crazy about you and messes with you all the time.  We have to really watch him because he thinks you should be playing with him.  You are a snuggler and we just love it.  I am so glad I get to be off with you for so long, it will be hard to leave once i have to go back to work. We know some of your development might be a little behind so far you are doing great.

 

We are getting ready for Christmas.  How excited we are for your first and you are with our family. Little "meatball" we love you to the moon and back.  You are a perfect addition to our family:)

Tired and tired

Man oh man am I tired. Little man has had tummy issues which means no sleep for me. During the day p keeps me on my toes so no rest for me..I know this phase will not last forever but I would love some sleep. We have also been busy getting ready for Christmas. Things are crazy but that's our life right now and I wouldn't change it. Well maybe some sleep..lol

These days

To say these days are crazy is a understatement. Juggling a premie and a 3 year old is tough. We are making just not getting any sleep. Plus p had a virus last week and I think I have pink eye. So you add that into the mix and we are really crazy!!! I would trade the sickness but wouldn't trade our new normal. P is still having a rough go,he is not jealous just busy and we have to watch him constant. He wants to hold or squeeze on the baby. C is not a fan of that. I hope to blog more soon,really want to keep this as a journal for the boys to look back on.
Although we could not do anything for thanksgiving,we still got all dressed up;)

Special delivery-8 weeks early

Our little Caleb made is special delivery 8 weeks early!! That's right baby # 2 is here. Caleb arrived October 27th @ 4:15 am. He weighed in at 4 pounds 14 oz and 17 inches long. He wasn't suppose to be here until December 16 th!!! He spent a week in the nicu and we are home trying to adjust to having two kiddos,one being a premie needing a little extra attention. Caleb's arrival was one of a kind,we almost had him in the car!! I was also suppose to have a c-section since that's how I had p but let's just say there was no time for that and I had him the good old fashion way!! Not fun at all I need some good meds but oh well. He is here and healthy considering;) below are just a few pictures.

More Beach

One day we went to a little amusement park. It was pretty fun but pax didn't want to do much of the rides. He mainly wanted to play the games inside and do the bounce houses. Oh well, he has fun and that's all that mattered.  After that we went and ate at lulu's on the bay.  It was so yummy. It's owned by jimmy buffet's sister so you know the atmosphere was a lot of fun. They had games to play while you waited so that helped a lot.  I t was a fun day/night:)

First real beach post

 

I am just now getting to post our beach pictures.  We had such a great time.It seems like forever ago but it was just a month ago.  I was nervous about p and beach. He hadn't been since he was 9 months old. He loved it no need to worry. He just jumped right on in, we had to keep a close on him for sure,especially while we were setting up.  He didn't really want to play in the sand just the ocean.

The first say a storm came up but we still got some time in the water.

I am going to do a few more beach post coming up.

First day of school-way late

Better late than never.  I am so far behind on my post.  Oh well better late than never. P loves his little school and so do we.  I always take him to his first day and I just love it.  This year we both took him and p really loved it. He looks so big in these pictures.  Time is just flying bye,it makes so sad.  Just glad he goes to a place he loves.

Fur Babies

Our little fur babies don't get much blog love. So today it's about them. They were our first little babies. It seems like we just got them but daisy is 9 and lily is 6. Time flies that is for sure..Speaking of time flying i can't believe i am 31weeks preggers. Any how,we love our sweet fur babies and wouldn't trade them for anything!!

Soccer

We signed p up do soccer this year!! So far he loves it;) P scored his first goal last week;) He got hurt in the process but was fine after a few minutes,nothing candy couldn't solve. Our good friends little boy is on the team and it's so funny to see those two together. I think they spend just as much time messing with each other as they do playing soccer.lol!! It's so much fun watching both of them. I am so glad we signed him up.

A few beach pictures

We have been back from the beach for about 2 weeks and I and ready to go back. We had a great time and p had the time of his little life. I was worried he would like the waves and sand but boy was I wrong. He loved it!! So much fun with him. I was limited with some of things I could do on this trip but overall I enjoyed it!! I need to upload my camera pictures but here are some phone pictures:)

Football Fun

It's officially football time. I am loving it. Football season is one of my favorite times;) Football and fall they just go great together;) We took p to a his first Memphis game of the year. He loved it all accept for the loud noise,he covered his ears through some of it..oh well!! We did have to leave at halftime due to bad weather,that was a bummer..
Memphis isn't the greatest team but it was still fun;)

First day of School

 

Pax has been in school for about a week now and he loves it.  He only goes 2 days a week but none the less he loves it.  This year he has gym 1 day and that is by far his favorite thing to do.  He has been a little sad though, his little buddy from the past 2 years is in another class this year.  P was excited the the other day because he saw his old friend on the playground so all was well.  Looking at these pictures I just can't get over how fast time flies.  Man it flies bye!!!  He has changed so much since 2010.  He will always be my little boy though.

 





Summer Fun,Coming to a End

 

P enjoyed the pool so much this summer.  Our little pool saw better days so we had to get rid of it at the end of summer.  Never fear we got a new big pool for next year.  P and baby #2 will love it and I can't wait to see them enjoy it.  The new pool we got is so much better and will fit all of us plus some.  P was into wearing goggles this summer but we really couldn't find any that would stay on his face.  Maybe next summer we will find some that fit. 

 

I can't believe summer is over but it's still soooooo HOT here!!!  It's miserable:(  Hope everyone had a fun summer,now bring on the fall and football!!

Backyard Fun

My brother and sister came and stayed some this summer.  It was a lot of fun.  One night we decided to cook some s'mores.  They were so good, I haven't had those in forever.  P really enjoyed it, more so of just burning the marshmellows than eating them.  It was a nice night too.  We really need to do this more often. Something fun to do in our own backyard.
