Snow in Chorley

It has been so much colder this year in Chorley. We have had a few days of snow, and today it even stuck on the pond. When is it going to warm up? I just want to see a blue sky. WAA WAA WAA.

Hike at White Coppice

Today was the first halfway nice day in a very long time. The sky is blue, but it was freezing cold. Jon and I went for a hike. It felt good to be outside.

In the way back you can see the temple.

Is it spring yet?

Spring blossoms in the winter. Where do they come from? It is so nice to have some pretty color though, on my way to the temple.

Happy Valentine's Day!

One of my favorite Valentine's Days ever!! Jon got me my favorite treat here in England. Krispy Kreme doughnuts!!! And the missionaries heart attacked my office door with little notes hand written on every post it. Missionaries are the kindest people! I felt very loved.

Visitors!

Today we had a visit from Manu Roggo and Lynn Stephenson. We met them last summer. Manu was a teacher at the MTC, and Lynn a very lovely recently returned missionary from Temple Square. She lives in Norway. Jon has been trying very hard to be their matchmaker. :) They came to be a part of two other teachers wedding celebration, Alisha and Ben Hunter.

Repair Woman.

When Lauren was little she was convinced I could fix ANYTHING! And since she thought that, I couldn't let her down. Then we went on our mission to Santa Rosa, and I lost my status as her great repair woman. Since I have come to England, I have reclaimed my admirers, and the missionaries ask me if I can fix all kinds of things. I don't have a sewing machine here, so I have gotten very good with my needle and thread. I have repaired all sort of items...hems, split seams, zippers, sweaters...and today I sewed this cute little rain boot. YES, I really am amazing. :)
