I have been slacking in the blog/journal department! Not that anyone else cares, but my memory is bad, so I have to do this if I want to remember anything about my life. I will start with the past couple of weeks, and then make two other posts about important things I have missed. Cool?
1- Sadie is moving to Utah today. I'm not sure who is going to be more depressed about it...Megan, Lauren or Beau. They all three think she is pretty great! My bet is on Lauren for the most tears. I hope we aren't traumatically affecting her life with all of the good-byes she has to say. (I am sure Mike and Kristen will miss being able to tease Sadie Sue too.) My best wishes are with my middle child today. I wish I could be a fly on the wall of her life the next few days, but then again, not really. I guess I just want to hear about how everything goes. :)
2- Today I am looking for inexpensive, no iron, white shirts for a Fijian missionary that came to Santa Rosa with a size 16 neck and now needs an 18. They come out so skinny and then grow into big men when they start eating all of the food here. :) He is a great missionary! I would do anything for him. If anyone has some good suggestions, please pass them along. I don't think Kohl's carries size 18 neck. :(
3- I had such a great week last week. Mark and Brenda came for a visit from Monday the 9th - Monday the 16th. It was so much fun to be together again. It was like old, old times when we used to have each other's full attention! They are such wonderful people! We love them!
Then Keri came on Wednesday. It has been a whole year since she has been here. She missed a lot of big events at home to come. I need to thank her family for letting her come. (Congratulations Brock on the State Lacrosse Title!) It really meant a lot to me to have her close by! She is still as wonderful as ever! Always doing just the right things, being so thoughtful and sweet, and making me laugh and relax! I love her!!!
While I had my guests captured in the car, and I was driving them by every little thing, we had to stop and get a close up view of my favorite cows.
As we were driving away, I spotted this sign. How I have missed it before I don't know. No wonder they are my favorites...they are on the Stewart Ranch. HA! I love them even more now!
4- Hailey had her big NBL swimming meet this past weekend as well. She was awesome! Keri and I made it for the finals that started at 2. It was so fun to watch her swim. She did the 200 and 100 free style races. She is a champion!

Also on Saturday, we had an All-Mission Conference! AGAIN! This time we had four members of the Seventy. They were, Elder Steven E. Snow (one of the seven President's of the Seventy), Elder Ian S. Ardern (newly called in April, from New Zealand), Elder J. Devn Cornish (newly called, greatest talk for me of the day) and Elder Robert Packer (our Area Authority Seventy). I still can't tell you what a great feeling it is to have all of our missionaries together, at one time. I feel their amazing power, and so much love for each one of them! After our conference Elder Neil Anderson joined the group for lunch before they held a Priesthood Leadership Training Meeting all afternoon for the eight Stakes in our mission. It was great to see him again, and to shake his hand. A sweet, amazing day to say the least!
5- Some more beautiful flowers in our yard! I love everything that blooms here! I am always amazed by it all!

6- My Mother's Day was wonderful! I know Hailey and I took some pictures but they are missing! So here is one of me and Jon. He kept blowing in my ear so I wouldn't make a fake smile. What a guy...I'm lucky to have married him!
That is it for today! Things are going well here in Santa Rosa. I am trying to catch up a bit on life this week while Jon is off interviewing more missionaries. He is in Eureka tonight. I am feeling a little lonely and missing him a little bit, I must admit. Oh well! Carry On!
